We had a wonderful stay at Summer luxury resort! This place is absolutely stunning from the rooms, to the pool, to the restaurant, it really is the full package for such a good price! Our room was HUGE and the bathroom was so spacious and modern! The room even had a sofa and a dressing station with a light up mirror and chair! We spent a lot of our time round the pool which had many seating areas and beds! You can also get drinks served straight to you from the bar! The restaurant had a delicious menu it was so hard to choose what to eat everyday, everything was so fresh! The hotel even helped organise a surprise sunset dinner on the beach for my partners birthday, even bringing out a cake to sing happy birthday, and they decorated the room too! We even got a transfer drop off and pick up from the hotel to the famous full moon party on the island! Not to mention the resort is also on the beach so you can even explore the sea if you wanted! I couldn’t recommend the Summer luxury resort enough, it really was the ultimate luxury stay!!

They have a rude man at reception who doesn't know how to deal with customers. Limited variety in breakfast hence we weren't happy.
We went to full moon party on 15Dec and used neon colors easily removable with water, little colors were left on the towels and instead of washing them and check whether colors gets removed or not, for that little colors on towels they deducted 1600 bahts from 2000 baht deposit , they said it's 50% of the 4 towels cost. If we want to take those towels, we need to pay 1600 more. It's ridiculous, just for little colors, 1600 baht charges are too high.
Their road from main road to resort is made with pot holes and during rain, water is upto knees. We also saw a 6 feet crocodile there , came from the forest, it's super risky for people who take bikes on rent and park in resort. Crocodile can attack on them.
Location is very far from full moon party area.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. We liked the beautiful large rooms with high ceilings and well-maintained grounds.
Very tasty cuisine, especially pizza with truffles.

TLDR: It's not "luxury" at all (But they are trying). Would not recommend for solo travelers or for anyone who'll be renting a scooter, because of the road to the resort.
Pros: Huge rooms. Nice pool. Nice beach view and access. Restaurant has nice vibes, but can't say whether the food is good. Only had a breakfast and it was average.
Cons:
- One of the reception ladies does not seem to be very friendly - she also seemed to be the manager, as she was making all the decisions.
- I though there would be sauna, as advertised on Trip.com - but it's a paid 1000thb (USD 30) for 30 minutes - hahahaha.
- Mattress is firm. Feels below average cheap hotel mattress.
- The road leading to the resort is very frustrating to drive - it's just 10 minutes of bumps. Even taxi is charging extra to drive that road haha.
- It's not walkable anywhere, if you are into that. Can walk on beach tho…
