Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

I still really like Sheraton, probably because it's been open for a while, so the price is quite favorable among the hotels in Haitang Bay. I love Sheraton's pool, and the public areas are also very beautiful. We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM, and the front desk thoughtfully offered us a late check-out. The hotel is actually very photogenic, truly a great place.

The moment I opened the door, my feelings were a bit mixed. The overall layout of the room was unremarkable, nothing special. What bothered me the most was how old and rundown the facilities were; the paint was peeling in some places, and the furniture showed clear signs of age. Looking down, there was a thick layer of dust on the floor, clearly indicating a lack of thorough cleaning, which immediately made me want to turn around and leave. 🧹 I had been looking forward to a sea view room, but it was a huge disappointment. The window view was limited; only about a quarter of the actual sea surface was visible, with the rest blocked by the neighboring building. The 'sea view' was really a misnomer. 🌊 However, on second thought, the price is indeed very competitive in this area. If you're on a tight budget and not too particular about accommodation details, just looking for a place to crash, then this could be a good value-for-money option. After all, affordability is king! 💰 It's suitable for travelers who prioritize extreme budget-friendliness and can tolerate minor imperfections. ✨

The room was spotless and well-maintained. We had a dedicated butler, Banana, who provided exceptionally thorough and thoughtful service. I highly recommend staying at five-star hotels under large chains; even their lower-priced rooms don't compromise on service or facilities. Plus, the Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay shares gardens and a beach with the JW Marriott, which made for a fantastic stay.

After a lot of deliberation, I finally chose the Sheraton again. I had stayed here before and had a good impression. This time, I brought my baby, and since he's still very young, the hotel provided plenty of activities for him. We did encounter a heavy rainstorm, but the hotel arranged indoor activities. My only regret was not being able to take him on the mini-train. Our butler, Xigua, was also excellent and responded promptly to all our requests. The hotel has been around for a while, but its location in Haitang Bay offers good value for money in all aspects. Regarding the musty smell and dampness, we generally didn't experience that, as we stayed on a slightly higher floor. I understand that service might be a bit slower during peak season, but everyone was patient and accommodating to guests' needs. Even the cleaning staff in the public areas would greet you. The drawbacks are tolerable, but it might not be suitable for very picky guests. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Booked another stay, and this time we got the Coconut Grove Seaview room. The room was fantastic, the view was superb, and the overall experience was still great. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was very responsive. It's just a shame it rained the entire time, but we'll definitely be back next time, hopefully with sunny skies! ☀️

The views are beautiful! Watermelon, our concierge, was so helpful and attentive, we could ask them anything! The pool is great and the private beach is absolutely stunning. The hotel is very clean, with daily housekeeping. The garden views are also lovely! Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive, and both Lingshui sour noodles and Baoluo noodles were excellent!

The service was excellent, and the hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The environment was beautiful, and the entire place was clean and tidy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. It's perfect for a vacation stay. The location is convenient, very close to the duty-free shop. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

This is an older hotel. Rooms on the first floor that don't face the sun might be a bit damp. I didn't book a room with a private pool on the first floor; I booked a sea-view room where you open the door to a balcony overlooking the sea. The kids' playground is large, breakfast is decent, and there are many foreigners.

Our family of three traveled during the off-peak season, so it wasn't crowded. The hotel environment is excellent, with direct access to the beach. There are plenty of family-friendly activities, including a kids' club, a children's pool, and even a mini-train. The coconut grove is also a fantastic spot for photos.
