Parador de Jarandilla

I really enjoyed this parador. It’s a beautiful facility and decorated very nicely. Has a lovely patio to sit out and have a cocktail. The pool is great. Very natural setting. Which I enjoyed a lot. I definitely recommend this hotel.

A memorable stay in one of the most beautiful Paradores of Spain. The castle where the Emperor Charles V used to stay, has a rich historic past. The strikingly beautiful Renaissance style court yard is the perfect setting for the restaurant and the bar. Food is excellent. The traditional regional dishes come with a twist. Unfortunately, breakfast is served only indoors. The pool is outdoors and you have to cross the moat. There is no pool bar, but you will find plenty of stretchers shaded by large trees. And you can see and hear the storks flying by and nesting on the towers. The only downside is the street noise which you hear in the pool area and in the rooms, unless you keep the windows closed. At night all is quiet. The rooms are elegant and well appointed with large bathrooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price quality relation is very good.

Wonderful stay in such a historic building, And inside our room everything was modern and elegant , newly restored. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is so nice just like it used to be when we have stayed at a Parador.

Room smelt badly. Given basement room because of dog. Felt like a dungeon.When asked to change was told 'Government only mandated 2 rooms in the Parador for dogs' Have stayed in Canvas De Onis, excellent experience with dog. Don't say you're pet friendly if you're not and charge euro 30 a night for the dog and provide a poor experience.

To dream in a castle is wonderfull. It is amazing how paradores breathe history. If you want to be a part of history, go to this Parador.

Beautiful setting, the Castle is well maintained and the surounding area has lots of interesting things to see. The service is good as well as the food. The bathrooms and rooms are very confortable with great views. We could not use the pool due to bad weather.

Absolutely stunning hotel with excellent food and exceptional staff. We stayed one night and booked through the Paradores website. We ate bar food in the courtyard and it was 100%. Everywhere else in town was closed on Sunday evening but the hotel was busy and still serving. Beautiful room. A lovely swim. Totally recommended. A veritable palace.
