Shimei Bay, Wanning, Hainan. Located on the eastern coast of Liji Town, Wanning City, Hainan Province, within the 18°N golden resort belt, this resort area is developed by China Resources. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Shenzhou High-Speed Railway Station, closer than Wanning Station. Boasting approximately 6 kilometers of silver-white sand beach, it comprises two crescent-shaped bays, backed by a globally rare thousand-year-old coastal green forest, and opposite the uninhabited Jiajing Island (a filming location for "If You Are the One 2," a diving paradise). The beach is free to enter; the sand is fine, the water is clean, and it's quiet with few people. There are high-end hotels such as Le Méridien and Westin, Phoenix Jiuli Bookstore (Hainan's most beautiful bookstore), an international yacht club, and a coastal highway.
