Pingxiang Wugong Mountain Scenic Area

The greater Pingxiang Wugong Mountain Scenic Area comprises the Pingxiang and Anfu Scenic Areas, each of which has its own character. The Pingxiang Scenic Area consists largely of the kind of high mountain meadow typically associated with Wugong Mountain. Visitors who come to Wugong for hiking or to enjoy the scenery generally choose to come to Pingxiang. The three major experiences associated with Wugong Mountain are climbing the Golden Summit, watching a sunrise, and viewing the “cloud sea.” Many hiking and photography enthusiasts decide to form groups to cross the area on foot, but most visitors combine some hiking with a ride on the aerial tram. It is most relaxing to allow a full day or two to be sure to enjoy Golden Summit, a sunrise, and the “cloud sea.”
