Sofitel Xining

This hotel is simply perfect. Built in a French style, it's romantic and luxurious, making it ideal for couples. The water temperature in the room was normal, no sudden cold or hot bursts. The only downside was that the TV wasn't working. Everything else was great though.

The 5-star hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. The location is also excellent, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. It's also family-friendly. I left something in the fridge when checking out, and they found it very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍

The room was decent, just a bit old. The service was pretty good, and the location was super convenient. However, it was really noisy at night, and since I'm a light sleeper, I barely got any rest! I guess that's what you get for being in a busy downtown area.

This is probably the best hotel in Xining. The service and facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. It's located in a bustling area with several shopping complexes nearby, which might lead to some noise at night (due to outside activities).

Beyond its good location, everything else was terrible. The front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, and the lobby was chaotic. The rooms were old and dated. My street-facing room was incredibly noisy, with music blaring past 11 PM, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was very mediocre. Personally, I felt this so-called 'five-star' hotel completely lacked any warmth.

The location is fantastic, with plenty of great food options right outside, and it's convenient for stocking up at the big supermarket. This is my second stay here, but it wasn't as impressive as the first time.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is plentiful, which my child really enjoyed.

After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!

The rooms are clean and the front desk service is super efficient. Food and entertainment options are all-encompassing! Sofitel is undoubtedly the top choice for accommodation in Xining. Staying here for five days, I was constantly surprised by little delights! 🤭
