Harbin Central Street Habsburg Hotel (Sofia Church)

The location is fantastic, right by the Songhua River! Cross the road and you're at the Songhua River and the cable car. It's just a 3-minute walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Central Avenue. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked in and checked out. Our room included afternoon tea and snacks, and the breakfast was superb – truly outstanding! They had different Northeastern specialties every day, plus a wide variety of Russian dishes. You can really get a taste of the local cuisine. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was fantastic, and the concierge staff were incredibly warm, polite, and patient, always ready to help with luggage. The river view room offered a great view and was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the 3D-printed yogurt was adorable. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the subway station, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the Songhua River.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't arrive at the hotel until 1 AM. The guy at the front desk upgraded my room, and it had two bathrooms, which was perfect! My son and I could each have our own. There's self-service laundry on the third floor. The breakfast on the second floor was also really good; I loved the freshly made beef noodles and the beautiful-looking yogurt. I stayed for two nights. Finally, a huge shout-out to the staff at the luggage storage. They helped me get my bags into my ride-share car. Enjoy breakfast with consecutive stays

The room was spacious with a great view. The front desk, afternoon tea area, and concierge staff were all incredibly attentive and welcoming. The location is also super convenient – right outside is the Songhua River Cableway, across the way is Sun Island, and just a short walk brings you to Stalin Park, the Flood Control Monument, and Central Street.

After a long search for hotels for my vacation, I finally settled on the unique Hapsburg Hotel in Harbin. The location is excellent, right near Central Street. It's about 500 meters from the Red Brick Morning Market, and Central Street is a short walk away. Sun Island is directly opposite, and it's right next to the Songhua River! I had some items delivered in advance, and the front desk kindly received them for me and had them sent to my room upon check-in. For my friends, I didn't choose a room with the best view on the first floor. The breakfast selection was decent and included some Northeastern specialty dishes.

1. Lasting impression: As I was leaving, there was a bellhop who was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. I forgot his name, but if you say "Princess, your carriage awaits!" you'll know exactly who I'm talking about! A big shout-out to him, his attentive service really adds to the hotel's appeal. 2. The hotel service is excellent. One evening, I needed two bottles of water, and the front desk guy said, "Here are two small ones for now, and if you call later, you'll get 500ml bottles." It randomly made me laugh.

The breakfast was plentiful, and the buffet was available until noon, which was incredibly convenient. All the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, especially the ladies in the restaurant and the cleaning staff. The hotel environment is comfortable and the location is very convenient; it's just a two-minute walk to the Songhua River and directly opposite a subway station. I feel so lucky to have chosen this hotel in Harbin! 🙂

The location is excellent, not far from Central Street. I booked a 120-degree river view room on Trip.com, but when checking in, I was told only room 01, at the very end of the hall, was available. I didn't mind walking a few extra steps, but to my surprise, I was woken up at midnight by the sound of water. I thought a pipe had burst, but it turned out to be noise from the ceiling. I called the front desk, and a staff member quickly came to check, followed by someone from engineering. They concluded it was the sound of someone filling their bathtub upstairs, and that this particular room would always have that issue 😡😡😡. After I insisted, they moved me to a different room in the middle of the night. It was the first time I'd ever encountered something like this, and I was truly speechless. Also, the road downstairs is a bit noisy. I now understand why they provide disposable earplugs in the room. The staff, however, were all very enthusiastic and greeted me proactively.

The restaurant is fantastic, with a great atmosphere and excellent facilities. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the breakfast spread is incredibly generous. This hotel is truly wonderful, with an unbeatable location right across from the riverside castle. It's incredibly convenient for taking the cable car or sightseeing bus, and getting to the Flood Control Monument and Central Street is a breeze. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so you can't go wrong. All in all, I'm very satisfied.
