Mountain View Guesthouse

The room is near the South Gate, less than a five-minute drive away, and there's convenient parking right in front of the hotel. The restaurant across the street is affordable and tastes good. Overall, it's very convenient, the room is clean, and the facilities are complete. I'm very satisfied.

1️⃣ Very close to the South Gate of Forest Park. The owner provides pick-up and drop-off services and gives clear, detailed advice on how to explore the area. They can also help buy tickets, which genuinely come with a discount. 2️⃣ The rooms have good soundproofing. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend choosing a room facing the river. I chose one facing the road. 3️⃣ The bathroom has two toilets (one squat, one seated). There are two air conditioners and electric blankets. 4️⃣ Bottled drinking water is provided. 5️⃣ There's plenty of hot water. Since it's on a mountain, you need to let the water run a bit longer for it to get hot, but once it does, it's very hot and reliable. 6️⃣ For breakfast, the owner's family's rice noodles are worth trying – good value. The owner's family is very kind and approachable. 7️⃣ There's a convenience store right next door, which is handy. 8️⃣ There's a parking lot, so it's suitable for self-driving tours. However, the owner mentioned that the local tunnels are undergoing maintenance from April to the end of June. Overall, even though Zhangjiajie was quite humid in early April due to the plum rain season, the guesthouse has air conditioning, dehumidifiers, and electric blankets (for mite removal) which perfectly addressed this issue. The air is fresh, the local customs are simple and honest, and the scenery is beautiful. It was a great stay.

It was great! There's no elevator in the guesthouse, but the owner helped us with our luggage. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it was spacious enough for three adults without feeling cramped. There's also a washing machine available on the fourth floor, and you can even order breakfast, lunch, and dinner directly at the guesthouse, which is very convenient.

The room was very clean and had no strange smells, and the food was incredibly fragrant and delicious. The view from the fourth-floor terrace was beautiful. My pants got soaked in a sudden downpour, and when I asked to have them washed, the staff even dried them for me and brought them back in the morning. When we told the owner we needed to check out early because the scenic area was closing, they immediately agreed and even helped us keep an eye out for our ride and saw us off. They are a wonderful, warm, and hospitable family. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit!

The environment is very clean, and the owners are super nice. They offer free rides to the South Gate of the Forest Park. There's a restaurant diagonally opposite with a great owner and good food. All in all, I highly recommend it!

The bedding was super clean, and the air was incredibly fresh! When entering or leaving through the South Gate, a quick call to the owner and they'd come pick me up. I stayed on the fourth floor which had a huge terrace with direct views of the scenic mountains. For a B&B, at this price point, the value for money is absolutely unbeatable... especially considering similar places I've stayed at during Labor Day holidays would hike their prices up to over 600, while this was less than 300! The views and air quality in Jinbian Stream are amazing! Definitely walk the entire path!!
