My family and I have stayed in the hotel for two days for visiting Universal Studio Japan. The location is excellent! It's located right next to JR station. Onsen is on the top of the hotel. Lovely new hotel, I will definitely stay next time.

The room was quite spacious, as advertised online. However, the sofa by the window sill didn't appear very clean under the lighting. The hotel offers a public bath and is conveniently located near Universal Studios. It was promoted as being the closest to the subway station, and one of the slightly more distant options from Universal itself. But in practice, all the hotels in this area are just a short walk from one another. With restaurants, 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Starbucks nearby, it's very convenient. The best part about staying near Universal is being able to enjoy the park until its 10 PM closing time, then grab a late dinner nearby before heading back to the hotel to unwind.

The facilities here are newer and the rooms are larger than the neighboring Tower Hotel, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the rooftop bath was a major disappointment. It was unclean, smelled strongly of chlorine, and had hair in it. Furthermore, mothers were bringing what appeared to be older boys into the bath area completely unsupervised, with no staff intervention. I definitely won't be staying here again.
The front desk staff also lacked a welcoming smile, and compared to other hotels in Japan, their level of service was noticeably substandard.
Photo 2 shows the view from my room. Nevertheless, the rooftop view from the Tower Hotel is still superior.

Rooms in Japan are generally quite clean, and the bathrooms were spotless too. The only issue was a musty smell in the room. The location is superb, right by the subway station exit. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Universal Studios entrance, which is extremely convenient! I highly recommend families with kids to book one of the hotels right by Universal Studios. You'll really be playing until 9:30 PM and then still want to go out and shop, and then getting back to the hotel is truly exhausting. If you still had to take the subway at that point, I'd seriously collapse!
