Lanting Elegant Restaurant Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Sign Store)

My husband and I have enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff are very helpful and always willing to help out in our queries. We had a nice view of the river and we liked the room layout. Thank you.

Truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are all wonderful and fulfilled their job way over and beyond. Always happy and ready to help with all our enquiries. Even prior to our arrival, the staff initiated and constantly communicated with us. They helped us prepare for everything that we'd need for the National Park scenic tickets and patiently explained and guided us. We felt safe and the location itself is covenient and perfect. There are nearby restaurants and footbath. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Overall, we would definitely highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, very close to many of the main attractions and convenient for getting around the entrances of the par. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and of a very high standard. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of food. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient for exploring the parks. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Everything was smooth and comfortable from check-in to check-out. We really enjoyed our experience and would happily stay here again!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Lanting Elegant Hotel in Wulingyuan. The room was large and spacious and clean, with the most enormous, most comfortable bed! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yao Yunguo who drove us to the Grand Canyon and the Yellow Dragon Cave, and to a yummy lunch spot, waiting for us at each spot and then taking us back to the hotel - it made everything totally smooth and stress-free and fun! Lanting is also perfectly located, only about ten minutes walk to the East Gate of the National Park so we could beat the tour groups and make the most of the mountains. At nighttime, the town comes alive with light shows and the hotel is right overlooking the river, mere steps to restaurants, and you can watch the drone show from the front steps of the hotel. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come again!

It was more than perfect The staff gets 10 stars not only 5 they are great and so much helpful, from the moment we booked they contact us and they helped us and booked 3 days itinerary with good prices and zero worries, and the experience couldn’t be better it was amazing, the room clean and spacious

The staff service was amazing; from the reception people to the cleaning staff; they were great and worked hard to meet our needs. Also the communication was really fast through wechat when we needed to talk with them, and without extra cost, they helped organize our trip through the park and bought the tickets for us. The only detail i’d change, administrators didn’t give the instructions to the staff members to tell the clients that there were constructions right next to the hotel, although the staff reacted really fast giving us esrplugs. Also the gym could be improved a bit but overall really nice recommendable hotel with a 5/5 workers. What you see in the picture is views from the river 15secs walking from the building.

This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in China. The staff were incredibly helpful. On day one they did ask if we’d booked tickets for the park (we had) and they tried to get us to cancel them and repurchase through them which we declined, but despite that they still took us through a really helpful map and reaffirmed the route we wanted to take and how we should get from A to B. I’d done loads of research beforehand but it was really helpful to have a physical map with directions drawn on top by the staff! Especially as in the park the names of locations in English vary!! We did buy our Tianmen mountain tickets via the hotel (I recommend doing route C whilst the cable car is still closed for renovation - it avoids the 99 bends!). The staff once again gave us a really good route to follow. They also marked out how we could do the golden whip stream on our third day. So helpful!! Anyway, more about the hotel: Our twin room was lovely. Very spacious, nice split bathroom (although transparent/frosted doors, so we did have to try and avoid crossing paths to give each other total bathroom privacy!) The motorised curtains were a good feature! And the beds were very comfy. Couldn’t figure out how to change the language of the TV but that was no bother! Data connection in the room wasn’t great, but WiFi with a VPN was good enough for video calls home. The pool was a bit odd - the property next door is being built so there’s a massive digger and construction - not exactly a scenic view. And the pool level seemed to constantly be going down - we saw it get refilled once during our stay though, and cleaned each day. The location in Wulingyuan was fab - really walkable to the east gate and also a huge number of restaurants nearby - there’s even a convenience store right next door. We also did make use of the laundry facilities a few times - each floor has two washing machines and one dryer, and the roof floor has bigger tumble dryers and space to hang clothes to dry. Each floor’s laundry room even had free washing pods so we didn’t actually need to use the travel detergent sheets we’d bought with us. We didn’t have a odd experience trying to actually find dryers on the main floors with availability, and I did come back to find some other guests taking our laundry out of the dryer before it had finished its cycle which was odd - but that was the fault of other guests, not the hotel! Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit the national park. Great location, amazing staff, and good rooms and amenities too :)
