It's super clean and the environment is great! There are a lot of international guests, and the staff are very friendly. You can see the sunset from the lobby, which is a beautiful view. Highly recommend!

Honestly, it was much better than I expected! I booked a private room for two nights for just over 200 RMB. Even though the toilets and showers are shared (and separated by gender), they were incredibly clean – easily the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. The location is also excellent, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. I had a great time in Kota Kinabalu these past few days.

This is my second time staying here. My first visit was at the end of September 2023, and compared to then, the decor and layout have changed a lot this time. The atmosphere is fantastic, perfect for making new friends and practicing English. The owner, Cindy, is also very thoughtful; she knew I'd be arriving late in Kota Kinabalu, so she added me on WeChat to tell me about the check-in process and important details. This place feels like a home away from home in Kota Kinabalu, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

This was my first time visiting Sabah, and I found this hostel on Xiaohongshu. The rooms were simple, clean, and very affordable. After checking in, I even decided on the spot to extend my stay for another night in a double room. The price was great, and I could enjoy a direct sea view from the hostel. The location was also very convenient, with everything easily accessible nearby. The female staff members were all very kind and friendly, they even gave me an extra pair of slippers at the last minute! ＜3

It’s very clean, and the staff are truly amazing and incredibly helpful. The hospitality felt so warm, and I really appreciated all the tips they shared to make my trip easier. Breakfast is free and served throughout the day, which was a great bonus. The bathrooms are spotless, and there’s hot water available all day—no complaints at all.
Special thanks to Cindy, who did an amazing job checking on me during my stay. I felt cared for from start to finish.

Cuz I’m solo trip this hostel is not too bad however sometimes should be changed, the noise due to the building is near the road the opposite is a bar when in the midnight u will hear the noise and sound loudly it’s not suited for sleep
Secondly the light pollution the curtains is don’t block out the light in your bund when the morning the sun ray will wake u up it’s disturbing especially u need a lazy sleep.
Therefore the staff will clean up the bedsheets in a improper time at the 10am or sometimes will disturb sleep
If this shortage can be changed it will be a nice hostel ❤️❤️
