What a lovely find , great room , spotless and a great size . The owner met us at the front door and took us to their private car park. Exceptional value for money.

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Arcos. All attractions are within walking distance, and the owners are helpful and friendly. Dedicated parking is just two blocks away. The breakfast is wonderful. We would highly recommend staying here during your stay in Arcos de la Frontera.

To start with, we had trouble finding the hotel. The signage is poor and can't be seen from the street. Parking is a couple of blocks away. We had difficulty navigating the location and parking, and ended up carrying our bags two blocks uphill to the hotel. We had a huge room. The room itself was very nice, and we appreciated the blackout shades plus outside window covers, making for a very dark room at night. But our bed was extremely uncomfortable, too low to the ground and difficult to get in and out of, with a very uncomfortable mattress. In addition to that, the cooling system does not function well enough for the heavy duvet that's on the bed. The bathroom is poorly laid out - there's no place to put anything close to the sink. Breakfast was nothing special, and I wouldn't recommend getting it at the hotel. I'm not sure why this hotel has a low walking score of 73 on TripAdvisor. It’s very well located for walks into town - a five minute walk (uphill) to the center of the old part of town.

A wonderful one stay in fantastic boutique hotel, great sized rooms very well decorated, seamless check in at the desk, amazing beautifully laid out breakfast, the staff are very helpful and it even has private parking. I will be definitely staying there again.

If you are off the beaten path and stay in Arcos de la Frontera, you couldn't find a nicer place to stay. As a fan of staying in restored buildings that have been turned into hotels, this was a treat. The room we stayed in, was light and airy and there was plenty of room to spread out. As the hotel is small, the owners can spend time seeing that you are happy with your room and experience. I definitely recommend staying at this small boutique hotel.

Gareth and Paul were the most accommodating, generous hosts. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. This property is absolutely delightful and perfectly located for walking through the old town. We wish we had more time here - Superb!

Total luxury. Top class service. Attention to every detail. Nothing to envy to a 5 stars hotel. The whole place has been designed to make you fall in love with it. There was only something wrong with the bed, but I am sure that the owners have already fixed it

Not "my" taste but sooooooo tasteful. Its very easy to see Garret and Paul did a great job taking care of of details. A real teat and pleasure to stay there, the two girls from the reception delivered the "dot of the i".Too bad it was winter, so we couldn't really appreciate the roof terrace but we climbed up there to get an idea .
