It is a relatively new B&B in the area, but the conditions are relatively average in a mountain village. The boss and his wife are often hard to find, but the service is quite enthusiastic. The main problem is that the hygiene is not very good. There is a circle of urine stains on the toilet seat. Compared with other B&Bs we stayed in, it is relatively low in cost performance.

We originally booked a twin room with mountain view, the same as my friend's. The store let us stay on the 4th floor, but the smell was so bad that we couldn't live there. Later, we were transferred to a worse room. The toilet smelled bad, and the house had just been renovated and the decoration smell was also very strong. We often couldn't find the boss when we contacted him, and he wouldn't answer the phone in time. The key point is that we reported to the boss that the room was downgraded, and we didn't ask for a price difference, but only asked for free breakfast as a subsidy. The boss replied that we didn't want to live on the 4th floor, which had such a pungent smell. He said that it was because we didn't want to live there that we wanted to change it. We were very dissatisfied and gave a bad review. I don't know why there are so many good reviews online. My friend was also very dissatisfied with the room he stayed in. There was urine stains on the toilet. We contacted him for cleaning for a long time but he didn't reply. The bed also hurt my back and the springs were making noises.

Personally, I think this B&B is in good condition in the mountains without overdevelopment. I looked at other hotels before booking a hotel. Some of them still have squat toilets, but this one has toilets. The twin beds are comfortable for a family of four. When the child was sick, they helped us stay in white rice porridge. The location of the B&B is very good. You can play in the water at the door, and many attractions can be reached on foot, which is very convenient.

這次入住體驗整體非常好。房間打掃得很乾凈，地面和桌面沒有灰塵，衞生間也沒有水漬和異味，床單被套看得出是剛換過的。老闆人很實在，入住時主動幫提行李，還耐心介紹了周邊的交通和景色，有問必答，自己帶的漁排壞了也幫忙粘好了。洗漱用品準備得比較全，除了常規的牙刷牙膏，還有浴帽、一次性浴巾，拖鞋也分了涼拖和一次性棉拖兩種。窗外的視野很開闊，整面落地窗，晚上能看到星星。酒店位置很方便，出門就是景點五眼橋，就不用額外買景區導站車了。 另外老闆本身還是嚮導，可以請他帶隊徒步，拍照水平也很高。整體來説性價比高，遠超預期，下次來還會住這兒。

多年後第二次到荔波茂蘭，竹子林的老闆很貼心，因為帶長者一起不方便，特意安排了一樓的房間，做的美食超級好吃，臘肉推薦，可以請老闆寄哦，當天晚上意外停電，老闆一個電話，電力人山路驅車半小時趕來維修，感人，美食美景美麗的人兒，推薦入駐竹子林民宿哦
