"Honestly, for a hotel ranked as the top 2 of premium hotels in Libo on Trip.com, this place fell completely flat. The pre-arrival WeChat chat with the booking department was polite and the luggage transfer they managed was super convenient, but the actual on-site service was worse than a basic chain hotel. First, the male receptionist working the afternoon check-in shift had a massive attitude, acting like answering questions was a chore (he was just as rude to an elderly couple next to us). For a hotel with a high-end ranking, they should proactively guide guests, but he gave zero info on breakfast, scenic maps, or sightseeing buses. When I asked how to purchase breakfast, he just dismissively handed me a single free breakfast voucher to get rid of me. While I am genuinely thankful for the free breakfast, his dismissive delivery entirely ruined the gesture. Then, our key card didn't work. We have to walk all the way from Building 2 back to Building 4 again, where the front desk just handed us a new room card with no explanation—making me highly suspect they originally assigned us an already occupied room. To make matters worse, when I checked out with this same male receptionist and requested to have our luggage sent to the East Gate, he didn’t even bother to explain how or who to contact to get our bags back once we arrived at the gate; I had to completely prompt and ask him for the retrieval details myself. Second, there was a major miscommunication regarding the extra bed we arranged via WeChat beforehand, as the front desk had absolutely no record of it. Because the room looked cramped and we didn't want to waste limited sightseeing time waiting for them to set it up late, we canceled it. The booking department then sent a passive-aggressive message regarding the 120 RMB ticket fee. They wrapped it in polite words but twisted it to blame me, saying because I asked for the bed, they bought the ticket. They completely ignored the fact that a communication breakdown on their end caused the issue first, framing it like I just randomly changed my mind. The gaslighting and refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable for a hotel with this tier of branding. Finally, the room comfort was awful. They turn off the cooling function at night during summer, locking the temp at 24°C so you can only change the fan speed. It was a hot, stuffy nightmare to sleep through. (Also note: Building 4 has no elevator, though staff did help some guests with stairs). To be fair, a different female receptionist working the front desk during the night shift was polite. However, that single positive interaction doesn't make up for the terrible daytime service from the male staff, the blame-shifting from the booking department, and the lack of basic room comfort. We are choosing this place based on its top-tier reputation, but getting sub-par hospitality. Not recommend it."

"When we chose the hotel, we thought this inn was very unique and had an antique style. I've been looking forward to staying here after seeing the previous reviews! The boss and his wife are very nice, talkative and straightforward👍🏼 The boss invited us to eat hot pot at the inn for 2 nights Chatting and laughing around the fire, you can also drink the wine that the boss has collected for 8 years. I haven’t felt so relaxed in a long time, it really feels like home!
