The hotel is in a square, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bar, and the service is very good. The room was very clean and big. Hotel D’Orologio
Hotel D’Orologio is beautiful and so much nicer than the photos. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and traditional Italian with all the modern equipment.
The breakfast room is beautiful looking over Santa Maria Novella. The location is perfect for Florence, short walk from all the attractions and tourist areas and in a beautiful area, also benefitting from being a short walk from the train station.
Would highly recommend, a beautiful stay and perfect for our honeymoon!

We stayed here on our 1st leg of our trip unique building. My wife brought 8 mini tubes of shampoo on our last night here packing up 2 where missing. We told the staff and they pretty much called us liars that someone took them. The hotel is old so the air conditioning only goes so low so they brought me a fan for the room. We travel a lot and have never had something stolen from our room.
