Banyan Tree Lijiang

The hotel is right next to Shuhe Ancient Town. The room was very quiet, and the service was attentive, living up to the Banyan Tree's reputation and standards. The hotel has added many experience activities related to local culture, which the children loved and made the whole family happy. The SPA oil was of good quality, and the technique was also quite good. Our butler, Elin, provided attentive service, responded promptly, and effectively handled various small issues we encountered.

Stayed for a night after my flight, the individual villa was great value for money. Our butler, Elin Zhou, provided excellent service, being very thoughtful from check-in to check-out.

Overall, it was pretty good, but the facilities are definitely a bit old. The food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious, and all the staff were very nice. It's just that the room facilities are a bit too old, and many things are not arranged logically.

Nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, just 600 meters from Shuhe Ancient Town. The Banyan Tree generally provided an average experience... it felt more like an 800 yuan ordinary business hotel, especially with the chaotic atmosphere in the restaurant. Ambiance: Naturally, it's not bad, but nothing spectacular. Service: The front desk staff were very warm and enthusiastic. ❤️🔥 Cleanliness: OK. Facilities: A bit old, but still acceptable. Not great value for money.

Facilities: Top-notch Cleanliness: Although it's an old building, it's well-maintained, especially the courtyard hot tub with constant temperature, which is excellent. Environment: Within walking distance of Shuhe Ancient Town, the environment is quiet and peaceful. Service: Good

Our stay at Banyan Tree Lijiang was fantastic! We loved the spacious room and the attentive service. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. It's also conveniently located near Shuhe Ancient Town, and the surroundings are elegant and peaceful. Definitely worth a return visit!

Miyue Courtyard Villa was such a delightful surprise! The hotel's Naxi-style architecture, with individual houses, immediately gave us a vacation vibe. It's truly beautiful. The complimentary travel photography experience was fantastic, and the kids loved the private hot spring pool so much they didn't want to get out. There's also a farm where you can feed rabbits, pick vegetables, play on the outdoor trampoline, and enjoy the large lawn. It really felt like a place where you could just relax and unwind without leaving the hotel. Our butler, Elin, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. We definitely want to stay here again!

After a few years, I stayed in a Banyan Tree three-bedroom villa with a heated pool for 3 nights again. Here are my thoughts: 1. The front desk service was quite poor and indifferent. For a 980-square-meter room, no one even came to the room to explain how to use the facilities. The attitude was worse than that of a business hotel. 2. The facilities were old and worn out. Cabinet doors were damaged and discolored. There was only one TV, and many channels were buffering. For a 980-square-meter villa, there was only one electric kettle. The downlights and light strips in the master bedroom broke on the second day, leaving only one chandelier. 3. None of the lights at the main villa entrance were working. We were told they had been broken for three days and hadn't been repaired. We had to use our phones to light the way to open the door. On the last night, we were grateful to the golf cart driver who used their vehicle's headlights to help us open the door. 4. On the second day, I saw flies crawling on the bread at breakfast in the Western restaurant. It instantly made me feel nauseous. I thought back to the first day when the server asked me how the meal was, and I just said the food was mediocre. Instead of trying to get good reviews, they should focus on providing good service first. The dinner was about the same quality as a street food stall. Instead of offering a 500-yuan voucher, they should seriously improve their culinary skills. The Banyan Tree architecture is still the same, and I like its tranquility and private space, but unfortunately, it's no longer as appealing.

On our self-driving trip along the Northwest Yunnan Loop, we stayed at the Banyan Tree Lijiang! I have to give a big shout-out to our butler, Coco Tang 👍. She was so thoughtful and warm, from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Lijiang!
