An experience that exceeded my expectations! The windows overlook morning glories, and Matalab is just a short walk from the entrance, making shopping super convenient. There's also Soho House St. Paul's nearby; I even snapped a picture of their cafe from a distance. Swings, a spa crystal room, honey lemonade, embroidered towels, and Ploh's super soft bathrobes – I'm absolutely delighted.

This 6-star hotel is absolutely stunning with beautiful landscaping and architecture, but there's absolutely no privacy. All common areas are open to the public. We waited over an hour in the lobby for our room to be ready, but they didn't let us go to the hotel restaurant while we waited. The tour of "Cidade Matarazzo" was also a mess; our guide was completely lost, it was her first time. They really need to separate the public visiting Cidade Matarazzo from the actual hotel guests.

Very disappointing experience for a hotel of this reputation. From a dirty bathrobe on arrival to consistently disorganised and inattentive service, the stay fell well below five-star standards. Dining experiences were particularly frustrating, with long waits, poor coordination, and a lack of professionalism. At one point, we were asked to wait despite available tables, while other guests were prioritised ahead of us. Although one staff member called Eric, made an effort to recover the situation, the overall lack of service, leadership, and attention to detail made this stay far from what is expected of a luxury hotel. ☹️☹️

The environment is fantastic, truly deserving of its reputation as one of the most unique hotels in the area! The service was also incredibly warm and welcoming! The overall experience was superb! It exudes relaxation, elegance, and avant-garde style. The exterior remains understated, with every detail meticulously crafted. The Guerlain spa, the ubiquitous green oasis, the tranquil yet tasteful atmosphere—all perfectly balanced. Bathed in the lazy sunshine 🌅
