The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit

I wish I could write a postive review about this stay . However I just cannot at this time . We booked though ******* , a specific room type for the space , when we arrived we were placed into a different class of room. When I went to the front desk to inquire the women working was brutally rude and swore she upgraded me with a better view . While that was sweet of her I explained that we actually needed the extra space for our party and the view wasn’t that important . She went silent and gave us new keys , no words spoken . From there it got worse . The room was dirty, mould on the bathroom ceilings , and tub and vanity was cracked in half , some liquid split in the desk that seeped under the glass topper which was visible , dirty coffee maker , dirty tongs , dirty pillow . I expected a bit more from a 4 star hotel

Very clean hotel, located close enough to walk to the Tigers game. So many local restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel with incredibly courteous staff. If you’re able to get a room that includes access to the club room on the 23rd floor, I highly recommend it, as you’ll have access to breakfast, snacks, and a continental dinner.

Stayed for business. Clean, spacious room, newer contemporary style bathroom, walking distance to the Federal courthouse and the downtown attractions. On side few dining options stake house and breakfast, Starbucks. Gym, pool and jacuzzi on the site. One thing to note valet parking services were somewhat slow but maybe because it was weekend and there was only one robe and no disposable sleepers, also didn’t see any usual items in the bathroom such as shower cap. But overall I will definitely consider this hotel for my next visit.

Property was clean, quiet, safe, and all the staff were very nice. The room was nice and well appointed, very comfortable. Parking was convenient, and there were plenty of amenities within the hotel. Everything we needed for a weekend away.

Sofa bed was dirty sheets not clean and found objects from prior guests inside bed.

Room was fine - very nice, actually. But snack in afternoon and paid-for breakfast were sub-standard and delivered very late. I was sick for three days with something I suspect was in the slowly-delivered snack and "breakfast." Another guest also complained about slow service, and if there was a "free" breakfast, we didn't see it.

Everything was amazing other than the shower, water temperature was either freezing or super hot. But truly everything else was amazing!
