Courtyard by Marriott Suzhou

The hotel's exterior isn't particularly striking, but it offers excellent value for money. We stayed on the executive floor; the room was clean and odor-free, and the hallway was quiet – we barely heard any noise. The toilet worked well, and the shower had good water pressure, although the water temperature was a bit unstable, but overall acceptable. The TV offered many foreign language channels, and even the treadmills in the gym had various language options, which, despite looking a bit old-fashioned, were definitely suited for international guests – and there were indeed many foreigners staying at the hotel. The hotel is right next to a subway station, making travel very convenient. The room temperature was a consistent and comfortable 24.5 degrees Celsius, though it wasn't possible to open the windows. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and while 'happy hour' only offered four or five hot dishes, they tasted good, and the pastries were abundant and delicious!

Excellent location right in the city center, very close to Suzhou Gate, within walking distance. Facilities: Well-maintained, still has a quality feel. Cleanliness: Very good, no issues. Environment: Great city views, perfect for an evening stroll nearby.
