Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka

Probably the most convenient hotel in Osaka. Unbeatable location for shopping, transportation, and dining. It’s always lively, bustling with tourists and locals alike. The front desk is on the 9th floor. Downstairs, the 8th floor has a great variety of food options, and the 2nd floor has a FamilyMart and a supermarket. There are also two floors of Uniqlo, and Yodobashi Camera spans from the 8th down to the 1st floor, offering not just cameras but a wide range of other goods. Overall, the service in Osaka is much better than in Tokyo, and the food is amazing.

The top choice hotel in Osaka Umeda! It's located right above Yodobashi Camera, and all the shopping malls in Umeda are within a 10-minute walk. The staff are attentive, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Even the lower floors are quite high up. I will definitely stay here again next time!

Great location, but the service and overall environment were just average. I stayed at two hotels in Osaka during this trip; while the location was fantastic and very convenient, the hotel lacked a cozy, welcoming feel. The service was so-so. Still, it's a decent choice if you plan to travel around the Kansai region.

The hotel facilities are complete, and the check-in and check-out processes were extremely quick and easy. The absolute highlight is its location, right next to Osaka Station, making shopping and dining in the surrounding area very convenient! As someone who enjoys morning jogs, I also discovered a lovely green space right by the hotel. Running a lap in the morning, then heading back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower to start a brand new day!

The room's main selling point is its convenient location; you can easily drop off your shopping and take a quick break. Overall cleanliness is decent, though some neglected corners and details do exist. Traffic noise from outside the 34th floor is audible, so light sleepers might want to look elsewhere. The air conditioning unit blowing directly onto the bed isn't very well-designed, though fortunately you don't really need it in this season. As for the lack of bottled water—having to use the public water station to refill your own—I personally found that totally fine!
