InterContinental Tokyo Bay

InterContinental Tokyo Bay has a great location. It's practically within walking distance, just a few hundred meters, from Hamamatsucho Station after taking the monorail from Haneda Airport. The hotel is right next to the ferry terminal, and the desserts in the lobby on the first floor are very popular. The rooms are spacious enough, and the internet connection is good. The bathroom design is also well-thought-out. My only minor complaint is that the bed and pillows, despite the hotel being quite pricey, were a bit too soft for my liking. The view from the room was lovely, though.

A truly wonderful travel experience! The Lily Seagull Line provides convenient transfers to the subway, making it perfect for exploring Toyosu, Odaiba, and the market. The hotel service was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. It's a shame the weather wasn't on my side, but I did manage to capture a beautiful shot of the Rainbow Bridge at night on the one clear evening.

The views and service are both excellent. The hotel offers different scenic views depending on whether you're facing the bay or the river. We stayed on an executive floor with a bay view, and it was great overall. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from Hamamatsucho.

The room was spacious and clean, with a great view of Rainbow Bridge right outside the window. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station, making it super easy to get to Shimbashi, Ginza, Shinjuku, and Odaiba. The breakfast spread was excellent, and there are plenty of dining options in the nearby square.

The hotel is located in Minato Ward with river views, and I had a bay view room. The view was decent. I requested a king-size bed but was given a twin room. I found bloodstains on the pillow. I tried to communicate this through Trip.com, but to no avail, though I appreciate the customer service agent's efforts. When I checked out, I spoke to the front desk, and a male staff member just smiled without any apology. Only the front desk staff seemed to smile; I encountered a male staff member who had a poker face and just rushed past me, which made for a very unpleasant experience.

This hotel has been open for a while now. They said it was recently renovated, but I didn't get to stay in one of the new rooms. The room I had was quite spacious and even came with a massage chair. From the ocean-view room, you could lie in bed at night and see the moon. The location isn't very convenient, but if you have money, you won't mind (a 3km taxi ride cost 100 RMB!). The breakfast was genuinely mediocre, clearly catering more to Western palates.

My stay at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay was absolutely delightful. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city – whether it's for shopping, sightseeing, or visiting nearby attractions. What truly stood out was the Executive Lounge; its elegant and comfortable ambiance, coupled with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the stunning Tokyo Bay, was simply breathtaking. During the day, I enjoyed the expansive sea views and watching the boats go by, while at night, the dazzling bay city lights created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The food and beverage offerings in the lounge were also top-notch, from afternoon tea to light evening meals, everything contributed to a sense of relaxation and enjoyment. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out processes were very efficient. Overall, whether you're traveling for business or a family vacation, this hotel is highly recommendable. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

A bit pricey, but everything else was perfect. The room offered stunning views of Tokyo Bay.
