Adelphi Hotel

The hotel is location is convenient. Many nearby F&B. It is a simple hotel, nothing fancy, clean and effective. However, on the night before I checked out, the water heater/boiler was under maintenance and it was not fixed. I did not manage to have a shower that night, including the following day as they were still fixing it. I checked out and the manager informed me that they'll reimburse one night stay. So far nothing yet.

I paid over 1500 for 3 nights! No greeting drink, free mini bar was a can of soda water 1 can of coke. No room service! I went to reception a couple of times for basic questions & the greeting by the younger lady was non existent it was like I was a hassle!! I did not feel welcomed at all & made me steer clear of her! The lady when I checked in was really nice & the man who checked me out was absolutely lovely, stood with me until my Uber arrived he was a gentleman & wish I could have dealt with him the whole stay & the First Lady on check in! Very very disappointed value for money was non existent!!

It was a pleasant stay. Definitely in need of more facilities, the pool was good but it would be great to get a spa or gym too. Breakfast was lacking variety for the asking price. I had to ask and mention the carpark to avoid a $104 fee! Lucky they helped me with a ticket that was only $16 for the day. The room was very tidy and we did enjoy having room snacks and beverages provided. Overall a good stay.

Very disappointed with how little maintenance has been done since we were here 7 years ago. No communal areas at the moment as these are under renovation and currently closed, but no notification was given. No room service available and ‘free minibar’ included a sprite, coke, and water. Rooms need to be cleaned deep cleaned e.g carpet, shower, and walls need painting. Windows need painting and repair. Hallways smell overly like poor perfume. Beautiful location but hotel is rundown.

Location is perfect and it was really quiet we stayed weekend too.. service was outstanding room cleaned everyday, sheets made properly on the bed (love that) quality towels linen etc it’s the little touches that makes this hotel a winner we arrived to lovely music in our room the room already at a great temperature, room is very large highly recommend
