Janu, rather than feeling like a younger, secondary brand of Aman, feels more like a modern European luxury private residence tucked away in Azabudai. There isn't a grand, ceremonial hotel entrance in the traditional sense. The entrance is either through a garage or directly connected to the shopping mall, creating a hidden sense of tranquility. The entire hotel, from the public areas and wellness center to the rooms, exhibits a very consistent design. Even the basic room types don't feel like 'downgraded' versions; the details and finish are impeccable. The amenities are also very refined and thoughtfully designed, not just a simple collection of expensive brands. The flow design is also excellent. Guests, restaurant and lounge visitors having afternoon tea, and service staff are largely kept separate. I had seen complaints on Google Maps reviews about noisy groups having 'girls' gatherings, but during my stay, the guest areas had significantly improved in this regard. The presence of the service staff is also very subtle. You rarely see them bustling through the hallways, yet the staff-to-guest ratio is incredibly generous. The internal pathways must be very well-designed, allowing them to reach all areas of the hotel quickly, ensuring consistently high service efficiency. The Mini Bar was replenished promptly, and the ice bucket was replaced during both cleaning and turn-down service. When I arrived early, the hotel calmly arranged my room in advance, without that rigid 'no room before 3 PM' feeling. The one-touch concierge in the room was also very effective, pretty much granting every request with quick response times. The overall service isn't overtly warm or effusive, but it's very reliable and never intrusive. Breakfast offered a wide selection, and there was absolutely no waiting. During my stay, I was always seated at a table directly facing Tokyo Tower, which was a fantastic experience. And most importantly, Janu Tokyo currently offers incredible value for money. For a similar price, I believe it easily surpasses the two Four Seasons hotels in Tokyo. Considering the hardware, design, service, and actual stay experience, it can absolutely contend with Bulgari for the second-best luxury hotel spot in Tokyo.

The service was excellent; all staff members were very professional and attentive 👩🏻‍💼🧑🏻‍💼. The breakfast was also the best among the three hotels we stayed at during our Japan trip 👍. The location is very central and convenient for getting around. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Tokyo ^_^

I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. It's located in Azabudai, making it convenient for both taxis and the subway. Right downstairs, there's a supermarket, shopping area, and luxury stores. The service was excellent!

I've stayed in four types of rooms at this hotel: 1. **Standard/King Room (any room below a suite):** They're pretty much the same. The size and view are identical, so I recommend picking the cheapest option. 2. **Corner Suite:** I absolutely do not recommend this room. The 'corner' only offers a view of the tower from one side of the bedroom window, you can't see it at all from the bed. Plus, there's zero privacy. Both the living room and the bed face the apartments across the street, which are incredibly close. You can even tell if their TVs are on. You'd just be staring at the people opposite from your bed, with no tower view! What's the point of a tower-view room if you can't open the curtains? The living room has no view, so there's no reason to spend time there. You can't even see the tower from inside the bedroom; you have to practically press your face against the glass. What's the point of this suite? 3. **Tower View Suite (non-corner):** Highly recommended! Don't try to save money here; the view is incredible. You can see the tower from both the living room and while lying in bed. It's practically perfect. I personally think the view is better than what you get at The EDITION or Fairmont, and it's much closer! While the service isn't as good as Aman, Aman has no view whatsoever! The breakfast here is genuinely delicious, and the restaurant is better than Aman's too. Even the spa experience is superior to Aman's. I really love it. In short, when choosing a room, either go for a standard room or a large suite – don't try to save money. I'll definitely be back!

Ganu Hotel provided an excellent overall experience. From check-in to check-out, the service was professional and attentive. They made every effort to accommodate guest requests and were very polite. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities and high-quality bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The dining and public facilities also maintained a high standard. It's suitable for both business and leisure travelers, and I highly recommend it.

I happened to be there when they had a cardboard cutout exhibition, which was a nice interactive and engaging experience for a solo traveler like me. The hotel's location and facilities are excellent, definitely matching the high price point. As a newer urban hotel under the Aman brand, it was a pleasure to stay here. The breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options. Although there was a slight hiccup where my breakfast took a long time to arrive, the staff apologized repeatedly, explaining it was due to missing ingredients. I won't dwell on the service much; thankfully, I was on vacation and not in a rush, so my mood remained stable.

The room is spacious and sufficient spaces for a family of two to three. The hotel has amazing wellness facilities. However, the cleanliness and services are similar to a serviced apartment instead of a luxury hotel. The housekeeping staff are not attention to the details of cleanliness in the room. The address of the hotel is also confusing to the taxi and uber drivers, I have been there 4 days, almost all taxi drivers cannot correctly locate the drop off/ pick up point at the basement of the hotel. The hotel staff should promote and deliver the correct pick up/ drop off locations to those local drivers and taxi companies like the other 5-star hotel did in other cities. The food quality of breakfast is awkward, the dumplings were not cooked well and the lettuce of the green salad is not fresh at all.

The location is good, very convenient to shopping at Azabudai. The pool and gym area is open to public as well, got a lot of people. Service was not really welcoming, was rushed to get out of the bath area as it closed but there was no clock inside and no remainders beforehand…had to get out with wet hair. The room is a bit overrated, didn’t feel the luxurious design and we got the side with no views…straight to a random apartment.
