W Osaka

Stepping into the hotel, it immediately felt like a top-tier business KTV – all glitz and glamour. The lobby, corridors, and rooms all shared the same distinctive style. The guests here are mostly young people, very fashionably dressed. Wealthy young people from Osaka often pull up in their supercars. The lighting in the room was something I never quite got used to. But the Wi-Fi was genuinely excellent, blazing fast! And there was no password needed; you just connect. Even after leaving the hotel, you could still use it within a certain range. The room size wasn't particularly large, and the design was very stylish, with a business KTV vibe. The bar counter and high stools looked good, but weren't practical – uncomfortable to sit on. The service was absolutely fantastic. All young staff, and they could communicate in English and Chinese, which was incredibly convenient.

The room arrangement was decent, but the lobby was noisy and chaotic, which could use some improvement. Hopefully, it will be better next time! Overall, I'd recommend staying here. The hotel's location is great, and the price is reasonable for what you get!

Our stay at W Osaka was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's design is truly unique, the room was comfortable, and the service was exceptionally attentive. We especially appreciated the hotel arranging an early morning check-in for us. After a long journey, being able to go straight to our room and rest, rather than waiting until the afternoon, was incredibly thoughtful and instantly made our whole check-in experience much more relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional from the moment we arrived, and the entire process was seamless. I really love the atmosphere and service at this hotel, and I'll definitely choose W Osaka again on my next trip to Osaka!

I stayed at the W once three years ago, and it was my first choice again for my stop in Osaka this time. The service is consistently good but still nothing outstanding. The overall nightclub-like style is very suitable for couples. I highly recommend choosing the corner room; the visual experience is much better than the standard rooms, and the price difference isn't significant. I've had the breakfast before, and honestly, it was terrible, so I didn't book it this time. The location is quite close to Shinsaibashi, and having places to eat and shop downstairs is really convenient. If you're looking for a luxurious experience, I'd still recommend staying at the Park Hyatt. The W just falls a bit short in that regard.

I happened to catch a promotional period at the W Hotel during the summer. At the front desk, I was told I could upgrade to the 17th floor for an additional 500 RMB, which offered a great sense of space and view, so I didn't hesitate to upgrade. The room itself wasn't particularly spacious, but I suppose that's common for hotels in Japan. I'd love to come back again if I get the chance.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. This might just be my favorite hotel in the world. It’s true, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But once you pass through the entrance tunnel, you’re transported to another world, even though you’re still in Osaka. This time, I was on a blue floor. Despite the heat outside, it felt like the temperature dropped by 5°C. The elevator was neon pink. I was greeted with a warm “Welcome back.” And I replied, “I’m home.” I was on the top floor, the 27th, on the Midosuji side, my favorite pink floor. Odd-numbered floors are pink, even-numbered are blue. Soon after, Jack brought my luggage. As always, he pulled my stopper from his breast pocket. Thank you. “Midosuji is all mine!” I declared, and then it was bath time. I headed to WET on the 4th floor. I read a book by the poolside, then soaked in the jacuzzi, repeating the cycle. Later, I had a French 75 at LIVING ROOM, served by Mr. Yajima. The Mexican dish I often order had been slightly revamped and was even more delicious. Back in my room, it was bath time again. Oh? Extra towels, bath salts, skincare, and a chair! Ah, I remember mentioning it last time. The chair wasn't quite what I had in mind, though. After that, I fell into a deep sleep, so no turndown service this time. Oh! Their laundry service is excellent here. I always have my high-end brand T-shirts cleaned here. It costs almost 10,000 yen locally, which is a bit much. They even managed to remove a stain from a skirt that H Nagoya couldn't get out. It’s not cheap, there’s no lounge, and no gym. But I absolutely love it. Thank you always, see you again.

Considering the inflated prices during holiday seasons, this hotel barely scrapes by with a passing grade. The breakfast was good and met expectations for its category. The room itself was generally fine, quite nice, new, and clean. The location is excellent, with plenty of places to visit, eat, and shop nearby. The service was decent, though it can't compare to a Waldorf Astoria. The TV system isn't very user-friendly for Chinese tourists; I couldn't get Netflix to work. Overall, it's at the lower end of the first-tier hotel category. It's less appealing with the hiked-up prices because for an extra 500, you might as well just stay at the Waldorf Astoria.

I have to say, the night view of Osaka is truly beautiful, and the environment is great. The location is excellent, very close to the commercial district, so you can easily shop at Parco and Don Quijote. There was also a bellhop who helped us with our luggage.
