Very strategic location for Colombo area, service is a bit slow, at night there is a short power outage, overall is good

Sofia Hotel Colombo is a very good hotel with a high level of service. The location is comfortable and convenient with the ocean view. The room was tidy, clean and has everything that I needed. The breakfasts were tasty and had variety of different meals. All the staff in this hotel were gentle and polite, helpfull and friendly, Rizwan did a good job and Shaid was very helpfull and all the time he was very friendly and polite. Highly recommended if stay in Colombo.

It was a nice experience and it had a nice view. Experience was amazing

Steps are so good, but the problem is in the bellboy not more from the door just standing for waiting something I want to use the toilet he not move out from the door I just holding I very disappointed for that. Otherwise everything will be OK.

I stayed x3 nights. I felt very safe throughout my stay,which was most important to me as a solo traveler.The security staff were attentive and reassuring and the front desk team were always polite and friendly.Chef Anil (I hope I remembered the name correctly) was exceptionally kind, when I had an upset stomach, he made me a fresh lime juice that really helped.The buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety, and house keeping kept everything clean and comfortable.Overall, a caring and welcoming hotel that made me feel truly looked after.Highly recommended.
