Phoenix Valley is 5 kilometers long, surrounded by mountains and waters, mountain streams, springs, winding paths, gurgling streams, deep pools, spectacular waterfalls, strange rocks, green vines and wild fruits, birds singing and flowers blooming in all seasons, green bamboos, clean water, and high negative oxygen ion content. The valley grows national protected plants such as Camellia chrysantha and precious plants and animals, as well as national second-level protected plants such as Golden Dog and national second-level protected animals such as Golden Turtle and Pangolin.
In terms of history and culture, there is the legend that Princess Guangde of the late Ming Dynasty escaped through this place and left behind "a kiln of gold", and the famous historical story of Di Qing suppressing the rebellion of Nong Zhigao; in the valley there are canals, ancient villages and ruins of ancient temples from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. What is even more peculiar is that the typical Zhuang customs are still preserved here. At present, the local area still retains folk activities such as "February 2", "March 3" and "April 8".
In order to better promote the brand of eco-tourism, Phoenix Valley Scenic Area has developed farm tourism in combination with local conditions, becoming a well-known eco-tourism destination. In February 2008, it won the honor of being one of the top four "Top Ten One-Day Tour" attractions in the one-day tour route evaluation in Nanning City. In 2008, it was also awarded the title of Advanced Unit by the leaders of Xingning District, Nanning City.
