Dormy Inn Express Sendai Seaside Natural Hot Spring

Facilities: As a chain budget hot spring hotel, Dormy Inn offers good room amenities and service. The rooms have separate toilets and bathrooms, and include a fridge and TV. Guests can also enjoy the Neptune hot springs next door, but there are no private baths. Environment: It's very close to Sendai Port, which is great for enjoying the sea and watching baseball. In autumn, the autumn leaves are beautiful and very comfortable. The Kirin Beer Factory is nearby, and you can book a tour. Downside: It's a twenty-minute walk from the subway station. A little tip is to visit the beer factory on your check-out day, as you can take their shuttle bus to the JR station.

The hotel room was incredibly spacious. The onsen (hot springs) boasted 7 different pools, the most I've ever seen at a Dormy Inn. The bathing facilities were available all night, and of course, Yakult and ice cream were plentiful. They even offered complimentary noodles in the evening. Extremely satisfied!

This Dormy Inn is by far the best one we've stayed at in Japan! The room felt slightly larger than the standard Dormy Inn basic room types, and the highlight was definitely the multiple outdoor onsen baths available (usually there's just one). It was fantastic to try out all the different ones in rotation. The service was also excellent. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way, situated between Sendai city center and Matsushima Coast (a 25-minute walk from JR Nakano-sakae Station, or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around 1000 JPY). Other than that, there are no flaws, and the Ctrip group purchase price was an absolute steal. Plus, the Kirin Beer Factory is right next door, so if you have time, you can book a tour.
