DunHuang County Hotel

This guesthouse is excellent! The owner is incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. The place is very clean and tidy, with disposable towels and bath towels, and even slippers that are thicker than what you usually find in guesthouses. The shower has great water pressure, and oh, besides being a smart toilet, it also has a bidet function, which my son absolutely loved! The breakfast is fantastic, with freshly made mini wontons, dumplings, and beef noodles. It was the best breakfast we had at any guesthouse on this trip, second only to hotels. The guesthouse is also very close to Mingsha Mountain, and there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby; we had desert BBQ several times. Overall, it's a superb guesthouse!

The room is spacious, and the bed is large, clean, and tidy. It's suitable for families with children. In the summer, there's a small courtyard and a swimming pool, which is very pleasant. The owner is very welcoming. The breakfast is healthy and delicious, and my child loved it.

The room was clean and tidy, and we could see Mingsha Mountain as soon as we opened the curtains. It was a five-minute drive to the scenic area.

This hotel was incredibly clean and hygienic. I stayed for six days, and my review is going to be quite honest, haha! It was very comfortable to stay here. It's only about 800-900 meters from the Mingsha Mountain scenic area, so you can walk, or a taxi isn't expensive. You can even see the starry sky directly from the hotel at night. The breakfast every morning was very generous, with porridge, noodles, and dumplings, always accompanied by side dishes and eggs. You could tell a lot of thought went into it. Plus, it's served until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for travelers who want to sleep in a bit. All the staff were wonderful—very warm and attentive, and they cleaned the room daily. The owner is also very nice; you can approach him directly if you need anything.

The hotel is located right behind Mingsha Mountain, about an 18-minute walk or a 4-minute taxi ride away. This meant my child could go to Mingsha Mountain to climb the dunes almost every evening. The hotel rooms are very spacious; even with two king-size beds (1.8m), it didn't feel cramped at all. In fact, all the rooms here are huge. The cleanliness was excellent; the bathroom floor had no dust whatsoever. There's underfloor heating, so you can comfortably wear a T-shirt in the room at night, which felt much better than air conditioning. I also highly recommend the owner; they were incredibly kind. They proactively helped us arrange taxis, asked if we were hungry, and even made us dumplings. Highly recommended!

I stayed for five days, and the room was spacious and clean. Since it was summer, there was also a swimming pool. The breakfast was very generous, and the dumplings were homemade. It's very close to Crescent Lake, within walking distance. The owner was super nice, always ready to answer questions, and gave great travel advice. It was an excellent travel experience.
