Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

There were fireflies in the evening, which was lovely. However, upon entering the courtyard, a staff member stopped my friend and asked if we had a restaurant reservation. They completely dismissed the possibility that we were hotel guests, which felt quite rude. What's more, other guests entering the courtyard at the same time were not checked at all; they only stopped us.

I've stayed here several times, and the beautiful environment is always why I choose this hotel. The restaurant in the garden offers excellent food and service.

The hotel has a wonderful sense of history. The breakfast upgrade even included black truffle eggs benedict! There are so many antiques throughout the hotel, and the Cloud Sea Garden regularly sprays mist for a special effect. The teppanyaki restaurant is delicious, with several price points to choose from.

The room facilities were all great, and the outdoor courtyard even had a beautiful evening performance. However, there were only two restaurants available without a reservation, and the à la carte options were limited and a bit pricey. Since we had an early morning flight on our second day, only one restaurant was open for breakfast, and the selection was quite limited.

Staying at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, which blends a century-old Japanese garden with lavish decor, was an experience of a unique 'urban oasis' environment, exceptional service, and rich culture. The garden views are stunning, with mist released at various times, creating a dreamlike 'sea of clouds' effect. The rooms are spacious, combining European classical style with subtle Japanese aesthetic details. The only downside is the less-than-ideal transportation convenience.

A truly excellent experience. From the guest rooms to the lobby, all the services made guests feel right at home. The hotel is luxurious, elegant, and comfortably warm. I will definitely be coming back.

The room was spacious with a lovely view of the Japanese-style garden, which was very picturesque and not too crowded. The environment was excellent. Getting to Shinjuku by bus was very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. The only minor downsides were that it's a bit of a walk to the subway, about ten minutes, and there's an uphill slope. Otherwise, everything was great!

The facilities are excellent, truly one of the best hotels in Tokyo. The ambiance is wonderful, making it feel like a hotel nestled within a beautiful garden. Cleanliness is impeccable; our room was serviced meticulously multiple times a day. Service was outstanding; the staff were incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond to assist with any request.
