We chose this place because of the huge bathtub, and the window in front of it offered endless stunning views. Our attentive butler Kobe, the hotel shuttle service, the breakfast buffet team, Wendy from the spa massage, and every single staff member we encountered were incredibly nice. They all contributed to a perfect Sanya trip for our family of three.

The room was decent and the bedding was quite comfortable, but the fruit basket provided had a bite taken out of one of the fruits. After contacting the butler, a new fruit basket and a coconut were sent over. The issue was handled fairly promptly, and service improved a bit afterward, with turndown service proactively arranged. Other than that, the service was just average. Overall, it was okay—there are buggy services right downstairs, and the breakfast was also acceptable.

Great experience at the Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay! The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and my butler, Fiona, followed up throughout the entire stay from check-in to check-out. She was extremely responsive—resolving requests in seconds and being very attentive. She even proactively helped prepare a bubble bath and arranged a late check-out. Her response to every request was a 'yes,' and the breakfast was truly hearty and awesome! The hotel's Manmo Travel Photography service was also fantastic 👍, offering a free quick touch-up for makeup and outfits, and the whole communication process was an absolute pleasure~

I specifically want to give a shoutout to our butler, Rose, whose service was both professional and heartwarming. Whenever we had last-minute requests, Rose coordinated and handled them immediately, proving to be extremely reliable and efficient. The hotel offers fantastic ocean views and fully equipped facilities, making it ideal for leisurely walks or taking photos. Rose thoughtfully remembered our preferences and had many details arranged in advance. This kind of perfectly balanced, personalized butler experience is hard to come by. It was a truly healing stay, and I highly recommend it.

The complimentary vacation photographer was especially skilled at capturing the mood, steering clear of stiff, posed shots. The entire session was relaxed and effortless, and the unedited raw photos already looked fantastic, while the retouched ones were natural and timeless. The room was spacious and comfortable with soft bedding, the breakfast had a great variety, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. Taking photos by the sea in the ocean breeze captured all the wonderful moments of our vacation. Highly recommended! We'll definitely choose the Grand Hyatt again next time we're in Sanya!

We had an exceptionally wonderful stay with our little baby! The room was clean and free of any odors, spacious, and very easy to navigate with a stroller. The staff were all very attentive and quick to respond, promptly providing all the baby amenities we needed. The bedding was soft and the soundproofing was great, so the baby slept peacefully through the night. The hotel has a lovely environment and complete facilities, making traveling with a baby totally worry-free. The breakfast was bountiful, and being so close to the food court made dining out super convenient—just take the elevator down, which was the absolute best part!

An outstanding hotel — a truly delightful weekend getaway. The Chinese classical garden design blends seamlessly with the surrounding coconut groves, creating a harmonious, natural atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and airy, with intuitive layouts; two standout features are the ocean-view balconies and the oversized soaking tubs. Dining is equally impressive: a thoughtfully curated breakfast with abundant variety, great presentation, and delicious flavors; authentic Hainan cuisine at Yu Cun Chinese Restaurant; and a globally appealing seafood barbecue buffet dinner. There’s something for every palate. But what truly sets this hotel apart — and leaves the strongest, most lasting impression — is its heartfelt hospitality. Butler Diana is exceptionally well-trained, professional, responsive, and attentive to every detail. Staff across all departments consistently demonstrate competence, dedication, and genuine care. We’ll definitely be back!

All of my friends traveling with me were very satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Rose, was attentive throughout the entire process, properly arranging every request, big or small. The hotel views are stunning, and every snapshot is worthy of being a postcard. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and we had a great quality of sleep. Without over-marketing, they win guests over with sincere service. This rare touch of genuine hospitality made this island trip exceptionally memorable.

Very satisfied. Our butler Diana contacted us at 11:30 on the day of check-in to ask about any special requests and turned on the air purifier in advance. The 7th-floor sea view was quite nice, the room was bug-free, and the weather that day was very pleasant. Food deliveries usually go to the smart lockers, but after communicating with the butler, they were able to have it brought up to the room. When we came back in the evening after watching the beach events, we found welcome fruits and coconuts neatly arranged on the coffee table, along with a bubble bath that I had arranged with the butler an hour in advance—it was ready right as we got back. I cancelled the next day's travel photography session myself due to poor weather, but the service throughout was truly top-notch, including every hotel staff member greeting us whenever we crossed paths.
