Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza

We chose this hotel in Alexandria and had dinner here. It was typical American Chinese food, quite sweet, and cost over 100 per person with tax. The service, I must say, was really good. Every day around 9 or 10 PM, they'd knock on our door to clean and bring water. Since we're also from a coastal city, after visiting the attractions, we'd just go back and sleep. The mattress was incredibly comfortable; we averaged 15 hours of sleep a day. There's also a Carrefour right next door, which made it super convenient to buy water, yogurt, and fruit!

First time staying here. **Environment:** Pretty good! It's right next to a shopping mall and pedestrian street. The lobby is lush with greenery, and the hotel next door is also very nice. The downstairs restaurants are decent too. I tried a Thai place, and the noodles were sweet, with crushed peanuts and white sugar added – I barely ate anything and just paid and left. Definitely avoiding that next time! **Facilities:** What's odd is that the shower stall is half-open. Every time I shower, water splashes everywhere. I remember previous Hilton stays often had this, and even other Hiltons I've stayed at since have the same design! Another strange thing is that this hotel always has mirrors facing the bed!

I went there for a business trip, which is why I specifically traveled to Alexandria. While it's probably not common for leisure travelers to go all the way to Alexandria in Egypt, the facilities are great nonetheless.

This hotel is located right next to a huge mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. There's even a Carrefour supermarket inside the mall. It's rare to find such a clean, open-air mall in Egypt, which is a big plus. Getting to Alexandria's seaside by taxi from here isn't far either. Highly recommend staying here!

Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities are a bit dated. Hygiene: The hygiene was acceptable, but there were mosquitoes. Environment: The hotel is located inside a large shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. Service: Pretty good.

The service was good, and the downstairs pedestrian street was very lively! The hotel itself is a bit old and maintenance is just okay, but the food was decent.

We booked the hotel for one night. The room description mentioned a hairdryer and bathrobes, but upon arrival, none of these were available. The room itself was old, and the curtains on one side of the window were torn and didn't close completely, letting in light in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep. The hotel markets itself as a 5-star property, but unfortunately, there were no toothbrushes or slippers. The hotel's location, however, is excellent!
