Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort

The hotel was very clean. A butler contacted us right after check-in. We stayed in an executive twin room for 4 days, which overlooked the road, not the sea. You could upgrade for a sea view if you wanted. On the third day, we even received complimentary fruit. The butler sent a lot of helpful check-in information. Overall, it was a lovely trip with great food and drinks.

Facilities: The hotel offers a wide range of facilities, a large swimming pool, and a pleasant beach for wading. Breakfast has extended hours and a rich variety, catering to all needs. Cleanliness: Particularly satisfied; no hygiene issues in the room. No musty smell. Environment: Very good. Service: Hotel housekeeper Anna called and added me on WeChat in advance to understand my needs and helped resolve issues, no matter how small. She also provided many helpful explanations.

Traveling during the off-season is truly wonderful – fewer crowds and better room rates. Our butler, Della, was incredibly thoughtful. She contacted us before check-in to arrange our travel photoshoot and even helped us get a room upgrade. After we checked in, she sent various reminders and greetings, fulfilling almost all our requests, big or small. When we returned from duty-free shopping in the afternoon, there was a fruit platter and afternoon tea waiting for us in the room. So incredibly considerate! The room was fantastic and clean, and the staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive, and their breads and pastries were absolutely delicious. Even for those of us who prefer a Chinese breakfast, they had fried dough sticks and tofu pudding. There's a free shuttle to the duty-free shop, and the hotel offers exclusive shopping discounts. We had a very comfortable stay and will definitely be back.

The hotel suite offers fantastic views, perfect for families with children. The garden scenery is beautiful, and the ocean view is breathtaking. It's incredibly convenient for stargazing and watching the sunrise, and the Sanya Eye is right outside the door. The room was clean, and Nikki the butler provided excellent service. Great value for money!

I have to give a huge shout-out to the housekeeping staff! They were so meticulous. I truly believe they are the first point of contact for guests and are the hotel's business card. A big thanks to the young gentleman who cleaned my room (on the 7th floor of the Jade Tower) – I don't know his name, but he did an amazing job! My vanity was a mess, and he organized it perfectly. I hope Sofitel sees this! 🏊 The pool is large, not crowded, and I especially loved that the children's and adult sections are separate. 🍜 They offer a separate children's breakfast, and there's a buffet BBQ in the evening 🦪🥩. 📷 The public areas are also very well-maintained and great for photos. Overall: I booked a two-day stay through a Ctrip promotion, and it was incredibly good value for money. My butler, Della, was also fantastic and took care of everything. It was a very enjoyable vacation, and I've been praising Sofitel to everyone I meet! 🌝

Before coming, I saw mixed reviews on Xiaohongshu, but after actually staying, my overall experience was great. A special thanks to our butler, Nina, for her detailed and attentive service. The front desk was also very responsive; anything we needed was brought up quickly. The hotel environment is lovely, the rooms are clean, and the air conditioning is nice and cool. I came with my husband, and he said his sleep has improved these past few days. The facilities are comprehensive, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The sunny weather in Sanya is fantastic! 👍 Our butler, Cily, provided thoughtful and prompt service, almost fulfilling every request. The bedding was tidied promptly, daily cleaning was thorough, and amenities were replenished in a timely manner. The hotel's public areas were impeccable, and the design of the beachside area was beautiful. We chose this hotel because of its swimming pool, and it certainly didn't disappoint! ✨ As a beachfront 🏝️ resort hotel 🏨, I sincerely suggest: ⭐️ Providing 1-2 beach bags in each room. ⭐️ Offering flip-flops and regular outdoor slippers (for those who don't like flip-flops 🩴). ⭐️ If the welcome drink were real coconuts 🥥, it would greatly enhance the guest's holiday experience. (Of course, the welcome fruits and snacks specially prepared by Cily were excellent! If the passion fruit came with a knife and spoon, it would be even easier to eat. And if the fruit selection were predominantly tropical, it would be even better). Could there be more adult activities for sports? There are so many children's activities, and us adults are quite envious! 🤩 Overall, although the weather wasn't great for the first two days, it cleared up on the last day, and the view from the hotel room was really nice! Before we even arrived, she helped us plan all the details for our check-in, considering every aspect thoroughly and saving us a lot of pre-trip worries. During our stay, any questions we had were easily and smoothly communicated with her; she was responsive, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. It was precisely this warm and thoughtful service that made our Haitang Bay trip exceptionally pleasant and comfortable, with the overall stay experience far exceeding our expectations. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Haitang Bay, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Excellent experience, and the butler service was top-notch! The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the beach. The room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. I particularly want to commend the butler service; their response time was incredibly fast. Whether it was delivering items or answering questions about activities, they resolved everything quickly.
