🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The "Emotional Value" here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

I had a truly lovely stay and really enjoyed myself. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and accommodating throughout my stay. One small suggestion for improvement: during my stay the trash wasn’t taken out and the towels weren’t replaced. It wasn’t a big issue for me but it could become important for guests staying longer or with several people. Improving this would make an already great experience even better.

Very friendly and helpful staffs . The hotel is beautiful. However , I shared a room with a friend with twin beds and the open bathroom had no partition, so we had no privacy when we got changed which yet needs to be improved.
