Atlas Kasbah

An absolutely stunning hotel - location, food, pool, ambience, and above all, the staff. We stayed a full week, and enjoyed every minute. An incredible place to relax, in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, yet not too far from the centre of Agadir and seafront. The hotel were happy to organise transport, often at short notice. The breakfasts were my favourite - so much attention to detail, and delicious, wholesome choices, much of which was produced locally or grown within the hotel gardens. The swimming pool was gorgeous - lightly salinated, and no chlorine or chemicals. At the end of a week, we felt completed rested, de-stressed, and healthy. I also had a really great massage! Many thanks to all the lovely staff who made the experience so special.

This was a return visit for us and it was just a beautiful as we remembered . We had a tower room with a private patio- wonderful! Dinner was delicious and they were able to accommodate our vegetarian diet. We came here from Claudio Bravo Palais - more elegant but both equally comfortable. Explored Anza, a sleepy surf town on the Atlantic which is nearby.

What a stunning, little, authentic heritage hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights & we were wow’ed by the place. Perched on the top of a small hill this old fort has commanding views up and down the valley. They’ve done a stunning job on converting this Kasbar with so many thoughtful touches & traditional decoration. The pool & the gardens are tranquil & relaxed. So many lovely spots to sit & relax. This feels truly authentic Morroco. Final point, the staff are amazing. So friendly & welcoming. The breakfasts are a real feast of traditional local breads & condiments. Best we had. Evening means are set menu with local cooking. The chicken & veg tagine we had on the first night was one of the best tasting sauces we had all trip. We’ll be back to stay for a much longer visit. We would wholeheartedly recommend.

We spent New Year's Eve here at the end of 2025. Wonderful experience and we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is fantastic, quiet and relaxed, but you can still easily get into Agadir for activities and restaurants and the beach. Our room was in the tower. Very clean and comfortable - but remember it gets cold in the mountains in January!

I’ve travelled all over the world and been fortunate to stay in great hotels. This place is right up there with the very best. It’s got a distinctive ethos and atmosphere - super-relaxed, beautiful, so peaceful and simple, and at the same time very high quality. Breakfast is lovely (and inexpensive - I don’t understand the reviews complaining), and the dinners are wonderful. Pool and other communal areas are stunning, and we stayed in a room with a private roof terrace, that was spacious, beautiful and had exceptional views. Unlike ordinary hotels, the welcome and food left us feeling relaxed and nourished. I’ll definitely return.

Exceptional Everything is exceptional. The way the Kasbah has been set up and thought about with the guest in mind is nothing short of extraordinary. From the products sourced from local cooperatives as samples in the bathroom, to the layout and location of the pool and dining area, to the design of the internal spaces with nooks and granny's for reading and learning about the local area (books on local permaculture and birds were provided) - everything has been thought about it in a practical, sensible and ecological way. The staff are also some of the most kind, helpful and friendly Moroccans I have ever met (and Moroccans are very friendly!) and they clearly care a lot about working at the Kasbah. I will 100% be returning. 11/10

A real Ecolodge. Absolutely outstanding experience. It truly deserves the name Ecolodge. They really thought of so many things to be environmentally friendly. Also the comfort and exceptional service of the staff made this place so far our favorite on our 19 days Morocco trip. The place is also very nicely decorated and offers a big pool for a relaxing swim. Food is prepared with on site grown produce. Definitely can endorse the place.
