Jingdezhen Ancient Kilns and Folk Customs Museum

The Ancient Kiln Folk Customs Museum is located in Jiangxi's Jingde Town. The two primary display areas are an exhibition of historical kilns and a display of local folk ceramics. Visitors can see ancient kilns in styles from the Song through Qing Dynasties. They will also be able to see reproductions of Jingdezhen Porcelains from the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as listen to unique musical performances on porcelain and ceramic instruments. So that visitors will have the opportunity to better understand the Jingde Town culture of ceramics, many of the buildings within the scenic area have been built in the traditional style. There are also a number of workshops in the scenic area where visitors can pay a small fee and get the opportunity to participate in ceramics production.
