I recently had the opportunity to stay at this establishment and unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. The condition of the room was quite disappointing, especially considering the price we paid, even with a discount. I observed areas that were not cleaned to a satisfactory standard. There was a notable issue with a dead insect that was positioned above the bed, within a picture frame. This was quite an unpleasant surprise and certainly detracted from the overall comfort of the room. Given these observations, I do not believe the accommodation quite lived up to what one might expect from a four-star rating. Furthermore, the room did not feel like the "king deluxe" experience that was advertised. I hope these comments can be taken constructively to improve future guest experiences.

The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to many attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the price was excellent.

My room was on the 9/F and top floor, spacious and well-appointed. Though the hotel is surrounded by buildings and doesn’t offer any view, it’s peaceful and practical. coin-operated laundry and dryer are available onsite, with laundry powder sold at reception for $1 AUD, which is quite handy for extended stays. The television doesn’t support direct login to streaming platforms like Netflix, but I easily mirrored content from my personal device. This workaround worked well for casual viewing during my downtime. There were a few downsides. One pillow had a visible mold stain, which raised a hygiene concern. I had my Do Not Disturb sign displayed throughout my stay, yet housekeeping entered and cleaned the room on my final day. It was an unexpected breach of privacy, and I hope the hotel takes note and reinforces respect for guest preferences. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was highly satisfying. The combination of its prime location, spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and friendly service makes this hotel a dependable and comfortable choice.

The hotel's location is truly excellent, right in the city center. All of Melbourne's main attractions are within walking distance, and there's a wide variety of high-end, mid-range, and budget Western and Chinese restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby. I highly recommend it for short stays in Melbourne; it offers fantastic value for money! 👍

I've never stayed in such a rundown 4-star hotel; I genuinely thought I'd booked a no-star establishment. The location was convenient, though. Both the facilities and service were poor. Great location - a couple of mins walk from Bourke St Mall. Close to lots of food options. Beef and bathroom fine. Great place to stay if you have a function in the city to go to and need a comfy enough place to get ready in and to sleep. Would be perfect for a shopping weekend.
