Shanshui Yunjian Inn

The B&B host was super welcoming. We stayed for two nights and got free high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off, plus they upgraded our room! It was originally two single beds, but they gave us a double bed plus a single, and the room was much bigger. It's really convenient to get to Sifang Street or Guishan Park from there, and calling a Didi is also quite easy.

The free airport pick-up service for my reserved room was super convenient. The hotel is also very close to the old town; it only takes a few minutes to walk to the prayer wheel. The room was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night, perfect for a good sleep 💤.

The owner's wife was already waiting for us outside the high-speed train station, and she kindly helped us with our heavy luggage and took us to the hotel. She thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for in Shangri-La to avoid altitude sickness. The hotel also offers electric scooters for rent at 50 RMB per day. I rented one to go to Napa Lake, and the owner's wife kindly reminded me to bring extra clothes because it would be colder there. It was a lifesaver that I did, as I was shivering from the cold. The hotel also has many shawls available for free use. In the evening, we also booked a local ******* feast with the owner's wife; the seating arrangements were excellent, and the visual effect was superb. When checking out, the owner's wife told me to cancel my Didi (ride-sharing app) as she would provide a free ride to the high-speed train station. The driver and car arranged were both excellent!

Excellent host! They thought of everything and took great care of us. The accommodation was also very good, clean and tidy.

Had a really great stay here! It's super convenient for shopping, and you absolutely *have* to try the Quzhou duck head stall right outside – it's incredibly authentic! You can also walk to the ancient town from here. The landlady was so welcoming and gave us detailed tips for adjusting to the high altitude. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, plus they have a bunch of shawls and clothes you can borrow, which was a nice touch. Definitely a recommended place!

A very comfortable courtyard, conveniently located right in the ancient town. The courtyard is peaceful, and our upgraded king room had a glass roof, so we could see the sky in the morning. I experienced altitude sickness in the middle of the night, and the owner was incredibly helpful and caring; I'm truly grateful. Shangri-La is beautiful, and so is the owner.

I loved the balcony in the room, perfect for relaxing and writing. I also really liked their special altitude sickness tea, which I drank every day.

The room was clean, and all facilities, including the oxygen concentrator, were fully functional. When we first arrived, the owner thoughtfully explained important tips for first-time visitors to high-altitude areas. The front desk also offered drinks to help alleviate altitude sickness. Both the owner and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming. We were truly sad to leave.
