JW Marriott Hotel Zhengzhou

The Zhengzhou landmark, the 'Big Corn' building, offers high floors with excellent views. There are great options for dining, strolling, and walking nearby, and the night view is stunning. This is my third stay, and each time I visit Zhengzhou, I have a wonderful experience here.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, especially since Nancy at the front desk kindly offered complimentary breakfast. This will be my top choice for hotels in Zhengzhou.

Facilities: Standard five-star, although a bit dated, still well-maintained! Environment: Great location, convenient for getting around, but parking can be a challenge as there's no dedicated area and spots are sometimes hard to find. Service: Good service, enthusiastic and proactive! The executive lounge service is even better! 41F Executive Floor Perks: Excellent, with warm and friendly service!

Facilities: The soundproofing is unbelievably bad, both from the hallway and the adjacent room. I couldn't sleep at all because of the noisy kids next door. The view was also obstructed by an external scaffolding. The bathroom partition door wouldn't close, and there was no shower curtain for the bathtub. Service: The staff were all very good, friendly, and attentive.

This is the worst Marriott I've ever stayed at! I paid extra to upgrade to a King Lake View room, and as you can see in the video, all you get is a view of countless fences! Lake view? Ha, don't even get me started! The so-called 'Corn Tower' is only good for admiring from afar; staying there is definitely not worth it!!! And let's talk about the buffet on the 38th floor. It's 288 per person for hotel guests, which is absolutely not worth the price! The ingredients are worse than what you'd find in a regular restaurant. They claimed it was due to the ***** New Year and difficulties in sourcing ingredients, but then why not just close for a few days? Knowing this and still charging such prices is clearly ripping off customers! I booked for 3 days but left after just one! It was truly terrible, and this bad review is absolutely justified!
