Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay

I've been to Sanya many times, but this was my first stay at the Fairmont, and it truly exceeded my expectations. First of all, a huge shoutout to my butler, Heihei! He single-handedly gave me an amazing first impression of the hotel. He is by far the most attentive and considerate butler I have ever met. Knowing we were traveling with family, he proactively asked if we needed adjoining suites. Throughout our stay, he frequently checked in on me to see if we needed anything, and he always patiently answered all my questions. He is genuinely an exceptional butler! The entire staff at the Fairmont delivers top-notch service. From the front desk agents, restaurant staff, kids' club attendants, and boat tour crew to the housekeeping aunties, bellhops, and the qipao-clad photography hostess—everyone was warm, professional, and took the initiative to help. My baby and I were strolling leisurely across the covered bridge and didn't notice a bellhop pushing a luggage cart behind us. Instead of rushing us or squeezing past, he patiently followed our slow pace all the way until we cleared the bridge before walking around us. Such a polite gesture! The hotel's landscaping is gorgeous and unique, exactly my style. With plenty of solid wood finishes, you can tell a fortune was invested in building this property. Some online reviews mentioned that the public areas are dated, but they really aren't—perhaps they've been recently renovated? In any case, everything looks stunning and exudes a wonderful resort vibe. The hotel also excels in the details; both the guest rooms and public areas were impeccably clean and tidy. My overall impression is that this is a professional, dedicated team that truly puts guests first. I'm not a paid reviewer, just genuinely moved to share my experience because it far exceeded my expectations.

So happy to be back at Fairmont! This is already my third time here. The Fairmont's restaurant is my absolute favorite—the breakfast yogurt, Hainan rice noodles, and the Thousand Island dressing at the salad bar are absolute must-eats! They gave us so many complimentary vouchers, including afternoon tea and happy hour (the fried rice with eggplant and minced pork noodles during happy hour are super delicious!). I contacted the hotel in advance, and the butler helped me reserve the exact same room type I stayed in last time. I was so happy and satisfied. I'll probably come back again once the swimming pool is done being renovated~ But remember to help me reserve my favorite room type, hehe ❤️ Also, I tried another hotel in Haitang Bay in the same price range this time, but honestly, the thoughtfulness of the service at Fairmont is still much better~

I had a thoroughly satisfying stay at the Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay! The hotel boasts a stunning environment with a luxurious, grand design full of tropical resort vibes. The guest room was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, with immaculate attention to detail in cleanliness. The staff were warm, attentive, and friendly, responding to requests promptly. The dining quality was also impressive. It's a fantastic choice for both leisure getaways and family trips. The overall stay was delightful and well worth recommending. I look forward to coming back again! Facilities: It's a pity the pool was closed. The property is huge, and the landscaped gardens inside the hotel are truly top-notch. Having seen enough of the ocean, a staycation amidst such lush gardens is also a wonderful experience.

The room was well-maintained with clean and comfortable bedding and bathroom. A special thanks to our butler, Maomao, who reached out proactively before check-in and was prompt and thoughtful in her responses. The hotel grounds, featuring the Yunhe River and other unique amenities, are full of character, though some of the hardware shows a bit of age. The hotel's vacation photography experience was great—with diverse backdrops, and a photographer who guides your poses and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The resulting photos turned out super gorgeous. Overall, it was a fantastic resort experience, highly recommended.

The Fairmont is the absolute pinnacle of value for money! The toiletries are Le Labo, the room was huge, and they even gave us a free room upgrade. The breakfast was delicious, and the public areas are stunning! Our butler, Hailuo, replied to messages almost instantly—the service was spot-on and the attitude was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

This is our second stay here. The environment is lovely, and the service is as attentive and thoughtful as ever. They delivered our luggage to the room, kindly helped pick up our food deliveries, and offered a great variety of activities. The staff constantly looked after our needs throughout the stay.

The Fairmont Haitang Bay is full of resort vibes! The landscaped gardens are elegant, and the canal boat ride is a unique feature. The rooms are clean and bright, the bedding is soft, and Kiko responded promptly. It's within walking distance to the beach. Having a relaxing seaside vacation here is just amazing. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Sanya.

The service was quite attentive; almost all the staff I encountered were very enthusiastic and provided help promptly, making it very friendly for families traveling with children. The breakfast buffet also offered baby food and meals with less oil and salt that are more suitable for kids. The room facilities were decent; there was no dampness or musty smell as some previous reviews mentioned, and it was very clean. However, the sea view room didn't really offer a clear sea view at all. I feel like a garden view room would have been sufficient here. Overall, a positive review. Hehe ❤️
