HOTEL UNIVERSAL PORT

Upon checking in, I immediately noticed obvious bloodstains on the bedsheets, which significantly impacted my stay and raised doubts about the thoroughness of the bedding's cleaning and replacement. I hope the hotel can strengthen its room hygiene checks, especially for items that directly touch the skin, like bedsheets and duvet covers. Aside from that, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's very close to Universal Studios Japan, within walking distance, which saves a lot of time for guests primarily visiting USJ, as they don't have to rush to catch transportation early in the morning. The location is definitely the hotel's biggest advantage. Overall, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, making it very convenient for Universal Studios visitors. However, during peak season, the room rates are relatively high, and at such a price point, finding bloodstains on the sheets is quite unacceptable. Therefore, I personally feel the value for money during peak season stays is only average. If they could improve hygiene and bedding checks, the overall experience would likely be much better.

Perfect! Ten years ago, I also stayed at the Hotel Universal Port when visiting USJ, and it's still so convenient and fitting for the location. The hotel's Ricorico buffet is excellent and very kid-friendly, with a particularly rich selection of snacks! And the breakfast at the small restaurant downstairs was unexpectedly delicious! You can even take it back to your room to enjoy. This time, our room faced the back harbor, making it super easy to take a boat to the aquarium across the way! If you're traveling with kids, you absolutely must go. It was a truly unforgettable experience~~~

There's no Lawson convenience store downstairs, but you can find one in the hotel next door. The facilities are a bit old-fashioned. You can use lockers to store your luggage after check-out, so make sure to have a 100-yen coin ready. A local accommodation tax is collected upon check-in.

The room was really spacious for a hotel in Osaka; we had plenty of room to open two suitcases. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's super close to Universal Studios Japan, which was a huge relief after a long day there – we definitely didn't have the energy to take the subway! I loved that the shower area and bathtub in the bathroom were separate. The hotel has a cute Minions theme, which was a nice touch. My only slight regret is that hotels in Japan usually don't provide complimentary bottled water, but there's a Lawson convenience store just two minutes away, so it wasn't a big deal. I'd even consider staying here again next time, even if I'm not visiting Universal Studios.

This was the most satisfying room during our trip to Japan. The wet and dry areas were separate, and the hygiene was impeccable. The bathtub was also very comfortable. My child loved the room's decor and facilities. We could see most of Universal Studios Japan from the room. The TV had Phoenix Satellite Television, but I couldn't find any Universal movies. The staff were incredibly friendly. We received a princess-themed toiletries set upon check-in. We stayed for two nights, and the cleaning on the second day was just as thorough as on the first day, which was a huge plus. The hotel restaurants were all delicious. My child didn't want to leave. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance.

This was my second time staying here, and the experience was great again! The service was excellent and very welcoming. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The hotel isn't right next to Universal Studios, but it's just a short walk, which is fine. There are tons of restaurants and convenience stores around Universal, which is really convenient! Getting to downtown Osaka is easy by subway. Overall, a really good experience.

You can open large suitcases without any hassle, and some room types offer direct views of the ocean or Universal Studios.

This hotel is great, really close to Universal Studios. The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom was also quite large. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and would choose to stay here again next time.

This hotel is amazing! You can see Universal Studios right outside the window. The room was super clean and comfortable, and my kid absolutely loved it. There were so many Minions in the lobby downstairs, we took a few cute pictures. The room looked exactly like the photos online, no difference at all. It's also super close to Universal Studios, just a few minutes walk, which was incredibly convenient!
