JR tower hotel nikko sapporo

I had a very pleasant stay at JR Hotel Nikko Sapporo. The service quality is high and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. One surprisingly nice touch: the toilet paper is not single-ply, which already feels more comfortable than many other hotels. For guests, there are discounted rates for the spa and salon. The spa even has a rest area where Hokkaido ice popsicles and milk are provided for free in the evening, which is a lovely perk after a day of sightseeing. Do note, though, that salon slots are limited and can be hard to book during busy periods, so reserve early if this is important to you. Location-wise, the hotel is extremely convenient: it’s within a 5-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station and is directly connected to a mall, making dining and shopping very easy. That said, navigating the area during peak times can be tricky, and it felt even more crowded due to ongoing construction around the station during my visit. The main downside is that there is no laundromat in the hotel. You’ll need to use the paid laundry service, which can get quite expensive if you have a large load, so plan accordingly. I’d recommend JR Hotel Nikko Sapporo for its excellent service, comfortable touches, and unbeatable location!
