Aman Tokyo

First off, there's absolutely no issue with Aman's service or its photogenic qualities. However, if I had to choose between the Bvlgari and Aman in the heart of the city, I think the Bvlgari would be much better. In terms of hardware facilities, they definitely need an update. As soon as you enter the room, there's a damp, musty smell of wet wood. We called room service for an air purifier and air freshener, but the smell barely dissipated without constant spraying, only improving on the second day. While the breakfast offers a lot of choices, the taste is just average. Many online reviews rave about the Japanese breakfast, but I didn't find it particularly good, nor do I think Bvlgari's Japanese breakfast is anything special. The Western breakfast is just standard. Many things require you to discover them yourself and then order à la carte. We weren't full after the first round, but they made up for it with extra breakfast later. Although the service was excellent, it was quite a hassle. Afterward, due to the room issue, housekeeping sent up some chocolates and arranged a private car to take us to the Edition Toranomon. This service was truly fantastic, and I'm especially grateful to the young man at the door. It was raining in Tokyo that day, and when we mentioned wanting to find a convenience store for some snacks, he walked with us all the way to the store's entrance.

The TV in the room was a bit small. It would have been great if the suite had two showers, especially since it already has two toilets. Overall, a very satisfying hotel – a peaceful oasis hidden in the bustling city.

I switched to a room with a slightly better view, but honestly, the view was still pretty mediocre. Not much difference! The rooms facing the Imperial Palace get really hot during the day with direct sunlight. Maybe I shouldn't have changed rooms at all. The service was genuinely excellent, and the dining was alright, though breakfast was quite ordinary. Room service food was good. I tried the facial, and it was just okay. In summary, nothing was particularly amazing! It was surprisingly average.

I think the only Aman in the city is quite good.

The space exudes a Japanese Zen aesthetic, with a breathtaking 30-meter high lobby and a stunning dry landscape garden. Even the standard rooms are incredibly spacious, featuring a sunken granite bathtub where you can soak while enjoying panoramic views of the Imperial Palace from above. The 30-meter sky pool and Japanese hot springs are truly a dream. The service is incredibly attentive, almost as if they can read your mind, and breakfast is exquisite and delicious. While the room rates are high, the impeccable sense of ultimate luxury makes it an absolute must-stay experience at least once in a lifetime. Highly recommended!

Good, good, good! This hotel offers exceptional service with a focus on user experience. It's a true milestone in the hospitality industry.

The room was in great condition, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making for a very comfortable stay. The complimentary food was also delicious. I have such fond memories that I'd love to try other Aman properties next time! :)
