Palace Hotel Tokyo

Following Ctrip's list of luxury hotels in Tokyo, I experienced the Palace Hotel Tokyo. My overall rating is 4 out of 5, but my recommendation willingness is a full 5 stars! 🏨 First, regarding its match with the luxury theme – it absolutely lives up to it. It's not just a five-star hotel setup; it truly has that "next-level" aura. The room was bright and spacious, but what truly captivated me was the balcony facing the Imperial Palace. The view was unparalleled. Standing on the balcony, gazing at the lush greenery of the Imperial Palace, I instantly felt like I was "living within a landscape." This is probably what the list meant by a "unique memorable point." For dining, I also gave it 4 points. The hotel restaurants offer distinctive dishes with great flavors, making you genuinely happy. It's the kind of place that surprises you with little details. Why would I enthusiastically recommend it to friends? One reason is its proximity to the Imperial Palace. The hotel itself is grand and spacious, exuding comfort from the lobby to the rooms. The other reason is that balcony view – I personally believe it was the most unforgettable moment of the entire stay. Finally, here are a few check-in tips for everyone: - Be sure to choose a room type facing the Imperial Palace; the balcony view is the soul of this hotel, don't miss it. - The hotel's interior spaces are expansive, suitable for those who appreciate quiet and an open feel. - The restaurant is worth scheduling a dedicated meal; both the flavor and experience are excellent. - In terms of transportation, it's close to the Imperial Palace area, and the surrounding walks are fantastic; I recommend allocating some time to explore the vicinity. Overall, this is a hotel that deserves its place on a luxury list, and yet offers more than just luxury. You'll understand once you stay there.

It's rare to find such a natural and relaxed atmosphere in Tokyo. Next time, I'll try running a lap around the Imperial Palace!

The hotel's location is excellent. Right downstairs, you have the Imperial Palace, which is perfect for a 5k run in the morning. There are lots of people jogging, creating a great atmosphere for exercise. I booked a club room and it said breakfast wasn't included, but Ctrip didn't mention that the club lounge offers complimentary all-day refreshments and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

I originally wanted to book the hotel room type I stayed in for the first few nights, but it showed as fully booked, so I could only reserve this more expensive club twin room. It turns out the more expensive experience was not as good as the basic room type I had before, and I didn't feel it was any better. Moreover, when I checked in, I found that the room type that was shown as unavailable when I booked was actually available that day, and there were quite a few of them, at a cheaper price too. I'm not sure what Ctrip means by playing these games, and I'm very unhappy about it.

The bread at the breakfast buffet is delicious. I highly recommend the fruit Danish pastries, especially the mango and apple ones.

This is the Palace Hotel. It's grand and impressive, but the price is quite steep at 6000 RMB per night, so 12000 for two nights. Everything else is great though.

An elegant and perfectly old-school hotel. I can't help but love the polite yet discreet service. The only downside is that the hotel's own Kaiseki and Tempura restaurants are incredibly difficult to book. It's a shame that despite multiple stays, I've never managed to get a reservation.

The view from the room was excellent; the sight of greenery spreading throughout the city was very calming. The room's cleanliness and service were also impeccable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, including some unusual ingredients not typically found in regular buffets. The pool and gym were also clean, allowing for a relaxing workout.
