The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue

This hotel offers great value for money, and I've chosen it for all my business trips recently. The location is excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Empire State Building, making it easy to get around. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. The room was well-equipped with a Miele washer and dryer, and the bathroom featured luxurious Diptyque toiletries. I also tried the second-floor restaurant; it was decent overall, with good service.

I specifically booked a luxury city view room, but the view was so restricted it felt like I was looking out from a cage, which made the room feel incredibly claustrophobic. Additionally, the facilities were very outdated.

The hotel's location is great, but the so-called 'view room' was really disappointing. The cleanliness was comparable to a 'Quanji Hotel' (a mid-range chain in China), but the price was 20 times higher! We booked an Executive Room for Christmas, and the ridiculous part is it was 12,500 a night on weekends – absolutely insane. Good thing the executive lounge was open all day, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were covered. We booked two executive rooms and stayed for 20 days, spending almost 300,000 in total. It was terrifying, absolutely terrifying. The prices in the US are just unbelievably high.

Always consistent quality, with excellent hygiene and service.

This was my first stay at The Langham Hotel, and it was by far the best among all the hotels I booked for this trip. The cleanliness and service were exceptional.

The rooms were clean, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. However, a word of caution: always carefully double-check your itemized bill when paying at the restaurant. We've encountered multiple instances of incorrect charges and billing errors. I hope this issue gets proper attention.
