Changxing Island Country Park

Changxing Island Country Park is a municipal park located on Changxing Island in Shanghai’s Chongming District. Changxing Island is an alluvial island in the Yangtze River Delta. Hidden in lush fir forests and tangerine orchards, the Changxing Island Country Park is a paradise of relaxation. The park was established a part of a broader campaign of ecological protection undertaken by the government in Shanghai. Due to its location far from the city center, Changxing Island Country Park can feel like a different world and something of a vacation from the hectic pace of life in urban Shanghai.
