Rosewood Luang Prabang

The room's interior design is fantastic and has a great vibe, but it's absolutely not worth 5000 a night. The environment and facilities are quite ordinary, and the gym is even borrowed from another hotel. We're not influencers, but even for influencers, there aren't many picturesque spots. The service isn't worth it either; many small details are still lacking, such as itinerary mistakes, my name being misspelled, and various other minor issues. If the price were 1-2 thousand, it might be acceptable, but why 5000 in Laos? The 3 Michelin stars feel more like they were obtained through the owner's connections; I really don't understand it. It's very far from the city and inconvenient, but there's nothing special about the surrounding environment either. In the morning, there's construction next door, starting as early as 7 AM. If you're looking to enjoy yourself here, I'd suggest going to Aman instead. Otherwise, a reasonably priced 5-star hotel would be perfectly sufficient.

Every room at Rosewood boasts unique design, and the service is incredibly efficient, attentive, and thoughtful. The breakfast and in-room dining surpass the taste and variety offered at the nearby Aman. The local tours provided by the hotel are also among the best I've experienced in recent years. I've stayed at many top-tier hotels over the past few years, and this one is truly the best I've encountered recently. ♥️🧡💛

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but they offer shuttle services if you're in the urban area, and they can arrange a tuk-tuk if you want to go downtown. Compared to Amansara, this place is much quieter and perfect for a two-day getaway. The room is very unique, perched halfway up the hill. The only downside is the tiring climb up and down to the room. The view is nice, but it looks like there's still some construction going on nearby; I'm sure it will be even more beautiful once it's finished. There were a lot of mosquitoes, and plenty of ants on the balcony too.

On the last day of my Luang Prabang trip, I stayed at the Rosewood. Aside from the high price, everything was impeccable, and I was extremely satisfied. A small but exquisite hidden luxury hotel with an elegant interior. You can even fish near the waterfall, creating a very relaxing resort atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, themed around early 20th-century Western explorers, a perfect blend of French and Southeast Asian styles. Everywhere is photogenic. The Elephant Bridge Bar, built over the stream, has a fantastic atmosphere – don't miss it! Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious, and you could eat without even leaving the hotel. Of course, going into town is no problem either; the hotel offers free shuttle service anytime. The service was excellent; there was a Chinese-speaking receptionist, and the staff were warm and friendly. However, they were a bit too enthusiastic towards us Chinese during meals, haha. The complimentary welcome desserts, drinks, straw hats, and rattan bags from the hotel were all of very good quality.

Compared to Aman, it's more luxurious and offers a different experience. The hotel was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, but the dinner was just average. I spent my time lying around the hotel, listening to white noise, and daydreaming. Doing nothing was the most comfortable state.
