We recently returned from Mahina Villa Resort and were absolutely delighted! If you're looking for a place to truly relax away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect choice. What we particularly liked: Grounds and Villas: The hotel is very stylish and new. The villas are surrounded by lush greenery, and everything inside is thoughtfully designed: very comfortable beds, high-quality linen, and excellent air conditioning (which is crucial for Thailand's climate). The design is minimalist but very cozy. Location: The hotel is in a quiet part of the island, yet Ao Phai beach is literally a 30-second walk away. There are great cafes nearby, but the resort itself offers peace and quiet. Service: The staff are simply wonderful! They are very hospitable and responsive, always ready to help. You feel not just like a guest, but a cherished friend. Cleanliness: The rooms and grounds are immaculately clean. It's clear that the hotel is meticulously maintained. This place is ideal for couples and those who appreciate aesthetics and tranquility. We will definitely be back again! A huge thank you to the Mahina team for our wonderful vacation!

One of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at so far. Facilities: Considering how hot it is on the island, the rooms are quite spacious. The hotel thoughtfully installed dual air conditioners, and the cooling power is strong enough that even one unit provides ample comfort. Perhaps due to the island's freshwater purification, you might want to bring your own shower filter. Cleanliness: The bedding was exceptionally neat and clean. On our second day, we only asked the hotel to empty the trash, but to our surprise, they went above and beyond, cleaning the entire room and changing the bedding. Environment: No exaggeration, the scenery at this hotel is what attracted me the most. Any photo taken with a camera looks great. From our room, we could even hear the live performances from the restaurant across the way. Waking up, opening the window, feeling the sea breeze, and with this environment – it's absolutely perfect. Service: The butler will meticulously arrange all your transportation, and the service is very attentive. Breakfast is also generous and can be delivered to your room according to your preferences, with them even tidying up afterward. They also arrange car and boat transfers for island arrivals and departures. It's only been two days since I left the hotel, and I'm already thinking about my next stay. I highly recommend the villa with a private pool suite. P.S. The hotel's location is a bit remote. If you don't ride a motorcycle, you can ask the hotel to arrange a Songthaew.

The hotel is a bit far from Diamond Beach, but they offer free shuttle service, and the hotel itself is beautiful. **Amenities:** The facilities are all new, with smart appliances and electric curtains. The hotel provides free snorkeling gear, kids' sand toys, kayaks, and more – you can use them as much as you like. **Environment:** It's very clean, and each room has its own private pool, which made my kids incredibly happy. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or enjoyed buffet-style at the restaurant. For a 5-year-old, an extra breakfast costs 800🐷, while a 2-year-old eats for free. An extra bed also costs 800🐷, which is a bit pricey! In the evenings, the restaurant has performances and a fire show.

A wonderful place for a romantic getaway, we felt right at home. It was warm, clean, and comfortable. 🤗 Absolutely no downsides – it's a new, clean, modern villa with caring staff ♥️. The breakfasts were delicious, as was the food in the restaurant, and the waiters were very attentive. The private beach had no crowds, and in the evenings, there was pleasant live music and an exciting fire show!!! We'd be thrilled to return to this beautiful place 🫶.

This hotel is new, and the ambiance and the hotel itself are quite beautiful and have a lot of potential. However, based on my actual stay, there are many areas that need significant improvement. So, I wanted to write an honest review in case the hotel can use it for further development. First, let's talk about the TV in the room. It's mounted on the ceiling, but you can't adjust it downwards. This means you have to crane your neck the whole time you're watching TV from bed, and after a while, it becomes quite painful. It seems like the TV is stuck or pushed against something, preventing it from being adjusted. This is a small issue but directly impacts comfort during the stay. Regarding the bathroom, I personally feel its design isn't suitable for families or even couples who are just getting to know each other. The bathroom door has no lock, is made of glass, and has a rather large opening, offering very little privacy. When using the bathroom, I felt awkward and couldn't fully relax, especially if you're with someone you're not very close with. I think the privacy in this area needs significant improvement. Another point is the lack of proper towel hooks or a place to hang towels in the bathroom. After showering, you have to walk out wet to grab a towel, which is inconvenient and quite odd for a hotel of this caliber. The most disappointing aspect was the service from the front desk staff during check-in. Honestly, it was one of the worst service experiences I've ever encountered. Their tone of voice, facial expressions, and way of speaking to guests were poor. Their willingness to help resolve customer issues was zero. There was no effort to assist, which left a negative impression even before entering the room. For a room at this price point, one truly expects much better service. Some budget hotels, even those costing only a few hundred baht, offer better service and are more attentive to guests. I hope the hotel seriously trains its check-in staff because they are the first point of contact for guests and greatly influence the overall impression of the stay. Personally, I feel some staff members are not suited for positions that involve direct customer interaction, both in terms of communication and emotional management in service. On the other hand, I want to commend the restaurant staff. Their service was excellent, they were lovely, spoke well, were attentive to customers, and made me feel very comfortable. This aspect greatly enhanced the positive feeling of the stay. Also, the fire show at night was fantastic – enjoyable and created a great atmosphere. That was another highlight. The food prices were also reasonable considering the ambiance and location. Finally, I'm not writing this to attack the hotel. The hotel itself is new and has many good qualities. However, at this room rate, guests expect comfort, privacy, and appropriate service. I hope the hotel listens and takes these points into consideration for improvement, because if these issues are addressed, the hotel will definitely become a much more pleasant place to stay.
