The owner was very welcoming and kindly offered to arrange transportation to and from the station. They even helped with our luggage to the North Gate of the ancient city. The hotel's location is also convenient, and you can see the Great Prayer Wheel from both the room and the hotel's observation deck.

This guesthouse is incredibly peaceful. Our room even had a skylight, so we could lie in bed at night and stargaze. When it rained, listening to the drops on the glass was so relaxing. From the third floor, you can go up to the rooftop terrace, which offers a panoramic view of the ancient city and the Great Buddha Temple in the distance. The guesthouse staff, especially the young man, was exceptionally warm and welcoming. He called us the day before check-in to ask if we needed a pick-up from the station and helped with our luggage throughout our stay. When we went to Pudacuo National Park, he even drove us to the bus stop at the East Gate. I was planning to buy oxygen tanks for Pudacuo just in case, but the front desk staff was super generous and told us to take some from the reception. He said if we didn't open them, we could return them, and if we used them, we could pay afterward. Here’s a personal tip: if you're looking to buy local specialties, there's a shop called 'Shi Jiu Hao' about 200 meters down from the guesthouse. It’s not a big store, but the owner is very generous and honest. Whether you buy anything or not, you can sample cheese, beef jerky, and even packaged goods – the owner encourages you to open and try them. The prices are fair, and they even offer快递 (express shipping).

The Tibetan-style wooden courtyard has a fantastic ambiance, and you can see Shangri-La's blue sky right from the glass skylight. The room is clean and tidy, and the courtyard is quiet and cozy, making it extra therapeutic after a stroll through Dukezong Ancient City. It's my top choice for accommodation when visiting the City of Moonlight – quiet, comfortable, and provides a perfect travel and living experience.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The room was well-equipped, featuring an oxygen concentrator and underfloor heating. The location is excellent, offering direct views of the prayer wheel in Dukezong Ancient Town. The owner was very kind, provided complimentary fruit, and even offered free pickup and drop-off within the ancient town, which was incredibly thoughtful and convenient. The environment was quiet and clean, perfect for a stopover during a high-altitude trip. Definitely worth coming back to!

Traveling with two adults and two children, I messaged the owner for a pickup, which was a smart choice. The hotel is located on higher ground, and climbing up would have been exhausting, especially with some mild altitude sickness on the first day. We chose the attic family room on the third floor. Taller individuals might find it a bit cramped and could hit their heads. There's a small balcony in the middle of the room with views of the old town. One floor above the third is a large terrace where you can see the prayer wheel. The owner and the young staff are very welcoming. There's fruit at the front desk and a laundry room available. When we left, the young staff also helped us carry our luggage to outside the old town. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Clean! Bright! Comfortable! The room was tidied up as if brand new, with excellent natural light. The hygiene was superb and the service response was very quick and efficient. There was absolutely nothing to worry about. Super high value for money. Highly recommend staying here.

The B&B's inner courtyard maintains the original ******* architectural style, while the rooms are neat, soundproofed with brick and concrete. The staff were warm and thoughtful, offering free luggage storage and parking. They also proactively shared local tips for sightseeing, from hidden viewpoints at Napa Lake to authentic dishes in the old town, which made us feel much more at ease exploring an unfamiliar city. It's a genuinely honest and great value place. Highly recommended!

This is a more rustic accommodation, but it's clean, tidy, and comfortable. It has everything you need, and the location is great, right in the ancient city, making it easy to get around. The service is excellent; they're proactive about helping with luggage and so on.
