LIZA HOTEL Republic-era Mansion

Excellent! We booked a family room for three people, and the environment was great. The entire hotel has a very distinctive decor, from the lobby and front desk to the dining area, elevators, room corridors, and even the room interiors, all very vintage and beautiful. The room was also very clean, and the family room was quite spacious. It was also very quiet at night. There's also free underground parking with large spaces, which is very convenient. The hotel entrance is right by a subway station, only 20m away, so even if you're not driving, getting around is very easy. The front desk staff's attitude is also commendable. We had already checked out and driven off, but then we turned back because we wanted to visit Hongshan Forest Zoo. The front desk allowed us to re-park our car in the hotel's underground garage, saving us dozens of yuan in parking fees for the day, and they even helped us put our food in the fridge to keep it cold. Their attitude was excellent. The only minor drawback was that after we left, we realized we hadn't experienced the 'goodnight dessert' that was advertised. It might have been because we checked in too late, around 1 or 2 AM. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The room had excellent soundproofing, and the bed was really comfortable. My daughter slept all the way until 10 AM! Before we left, the front desk even gave us a lot of water and snacks. The subway station is right outside, making it convenient to go anywhere, and parking was also very easy, with slow charging available. Next time I'm in Nanjing, I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right at the exit of Metro Line 3, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Plus, Hongshan Forest Zoo is right next door. Second, the room came with a set for making purified water for tea. This is something I've never encountered in any other hotel I've stayed at. Even though I rarely drink tea, I really enjoyed using it; it was a very pleasant touch. Third, there's a dressing table where you can sit down to do your makeup, which is very thoughtful for women. The lighting is from an overhead lamp, but I'm still very satisfied. Fourth, the hotel offers complimentary desserts every evening. During my two-day stay, I received red bean paste and white fungus and lotus seed soup, both subtly sweet and very considerate. Fifth, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. The breakfast selection was fairly standard, but they had a coffee machine, which is quite impressive for a hotel in this price range. Sixth, upon check-out, they even gave a small gift – a beautifully packaged, traditional Chinese style ceramic cup, which I really liked. Overall, my stay was fantastic. This is the first time in my life I've actively given such a positive review!

Environment: The Fujianese characteristics are very prominent, making it a great place for photos. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic. They upgraded our room for free and even gave us complimentary breakfast when they saw our booking didn't include it.

Nanjing Zhonggu Hotel is very meticulous with its hygiene; the toilet and shower area were spotless. Although the decor is a bit vintage, all the daily facilities worked perfectly. The room had good natural light, a quiet environment, and it was convenient for getting around.

Beautiful! I'm totally in love with this decor style! There's a self-service area on the 1st floor where you can change into traditional cheongsam and take photos—the overall vibe is just stunning! At night, the ground floor turns into a bar; having a little drink in this kind of atmosphere is amazing. I've already decided to stay here every time I visit Nanjing from now on!

I rarely write hotel reviews, but I just had to for this one. It's right by the Line 3 subway entrance, and they thoughtfully warned me about potential subway noise affecting my rest. This is the first hotel I've stayed at that actually had signs indicating elevator directions when you leave. The room also had a nice touch for women, a jewelry tray, and there were thoughtful late-night snacks. The breakfast was also delicious. The entire hotel's retro style is really eye-catching. Highly, highly recommend! 👍

Although the facilities look retro, they all work perfectly. The hot water supply was consistently stable, and the hairdryer had good power. The lighting was just right, and the Wi-Fi was fast. There was no musty smell typical of old rooms, making for a reassuring stay. For a trip to Nanjing, choosing this place offers a clean, comfortable, and pleasant experience.

The room also had a sterilizer cabinet, which perfectly addressed my slight cleanliness concerns when staying at hotels. They even provided disposable face towels. In the evening, there was a warm white fungus soup, thoughtfully served with one portion of red dates and another of goji berries. These small details really show how much care the hotel puts into its service. If I come to Nanjing again, I will definitely choose this hotel.
