This is Nanning! Welcome to the edge of Southeast Asia! Posted on my social media, and my mom immediately called asking why I went to Thailand again. Truly living up to its name as Nanning Fantawild, every shot is Instagram-worthy!! You can pretend you're in Southeast Asia without leaving the country. Right after entering, there's a costume rental shop on the right—try the Dai ethnic outfit for a quick experience. Before closing time, the most photogenic spot in Fantawild is definitely "Entering Angkor Wat"!! The Southeast Asian vibe is on point, and you can never take enough photos. Here are my must-try attractions at Fantawild: 1. **Soaring Over the Horizon (Must-visit for thrill-seekers)**: Located on the left after entering. If there's no queue, try this first. An immersive experience of Southeast Asian landscapes with dynamic seat movements and swooping perspectives—it feels incredibly real, like a next-level planetarium experience. 2. **Song of the Islands (Must-visit for culture lovers)**: Remember to book a slot on the Fantawild app as soon as you enter! Shows are limited, so keep an eye on the time. The live performances are fantastic, with stunning lighting, acrobatics, and stage effects. 3. **The Legend of Rama (Must-visit for thrill-seekers)**: Features 4D screen effects, and the seats rotate with the storyline. My friends all said it felt hyper-real—exhilarating and super fun!!!

Nanning Fantawild Asian Legend is one of China's most unique theme parks. Unlike traditional amusement parks, the main focus here isn't just the rides—it's also the culture, legends, and history of Southeast Asian countries. The park is divided into themed zones dedicated to the myths, traditions, and famous tales of various ASEAN nations. Many pavilions blend modern technology, 4D effects, massive sets, and multimedia shows. Because of this, a visit feels more like an interactive journey across Asia than a typical day at an amusement park. The indoor themed pavilions are particularly mind-blowing, featuring projection tech, motion platforms, and stunning special effects. Even if you're not a fan of extreme roller coasters, you'll find plenty of entertainment and shows to enjoy here. Things to Keep in Mind · It's highly recommended to set aside a full day for your visit. · Try to hit the most popular rides in the morning. · Many shows run on a specific schedule, so be sure to check it right after you enter. · In the summer, water, a hat, and sunscreen are absolute must-haves. · In the evening, the park frequently hosts spectacular light shows and illuminated performances. Where to Take the Best Photos 📍 The main entrance and central plaza of the park. 📍 The Asian-style castles and themed pavilions. 📍 Panoramic viewpoints near the major rides. 📍 The evening lights in the central part of the park. 📍 Areas featuring Southeast Asian-themed decorations. Who It's Great For · Theme park enthusiasts. · Families with kids. · Anyone looking for a full-day adventure in Nanning. · Travelers interested in Asian cultures. · Fans of vibrant photography and stunning evening shows.

During summer vacation, it's hard to find a place where kids can have fun without getting sunburned or waiting in long lines. Nanning Fantawild gave me a pleasant surprise—many core attractions are indoors, with good air conditioning and a great experience, so you won't be too exhausted after a full day. Parents with kids can directly follow this guide. Morning: Take photos, then head straight for the star attractions Don't dawdle when entering the park, and don't start with the minor attractions. You can take a couple of photos of the exotic architecture in the Southeast Asian Style Street near the entrance, but don't spend more than 10 minutes. Then, immediately rush deeper into the park, making "Soaring over ASEAN" your first stop. This attraction features suspended seats that rise five stories high, with a giant dome screen taking you on a flight over 10 ASEAN countries, diving into Ha Long Bay and soaring past Angkor Wat. The entire 8-minute experience is fully immersive. Go early when the park opens and there are fewer people; you generally won't have to wait in long lines. After noon, waiting times can easily exceed an hour. Afterward, take a detour to "Journey to Angkor." A 60-meter super-large screen recreates the history of the Angkor Dynasty. The visuals are grand; children might not fully understand, but the grandeur can keep them quiet for a while. Nearby, "Thaat Luang Festival" offers a 360-degree panoramic experience of Laotian culture, with a relaxed pace that won't tire out the kids. Noon: Enjoy food and water fun Don't stay outdoors during the hottest part of the day. Mangrove Water Village is an exclusive water play area for families, featuring slides, water guns, and tipping buckets. Once kids go in, you won't be able to pull them out. Remember to prepare a change of clothes and towels for your children in advance, so they can dry off and change promptly after playing in the water to avoid catching a cold from the air conditioning. When you're tired, find a nearby restaurant for a meal. Most children enjoy Southeast Asian snacks; fried rice, spring rolls, and pineapple rice are all good options. You can also bring your own small snacks to tide you over. Afternoon: Time for indoor, cool attractions "Song of the Thousand Islands" features Indonesian-style song and dance accompanied by hundreds of dancing, program-controlled magic spheres. The light and shadow effects throughout the venue will captivate children. This attraction has won international awards and is well worth seeing. However, please note that advance reservations are required! There are only 2 shows daily, and spots are limited. After entering the park, you can use the "Cloud Queue" feature on the Fantawild app to make a reservation, or get tickets at the reservation machine near the attraction entrance. "Colorful Journey" is suitable for younger children. Small boats slowly drift past miniature Brunei landscapes, with dreamy and gentle scenery that isn't scary at all. Girls might also enjoy visiting the Philippines-themed area to see Manila, touring from the perspective of a tarsier, with a relaxed pace. Evening finale: Parade Around 4:30 PM, the parade begins. Performers in various national costumes interact with visitors along the route, actively high-fiving children. The atmosphere is joyful, and the kids will be thrilled, running alongside the parade floats. After the parade, take advantage of the sunset to take a few more photos in the Southeast Asian Style Street; the soft light makes for great pictures. A few practical tips Tickets: Adults pay CNY 299 for a full day, children 1.1–1.4m tall pay CNY 199, and children under 1.1m are free. Gear for kids: Change of clothes, sunscreen, water bottle, small snacks. Wear comfortable shoes; expect to walk at least 20,000 steps in a day. Single entry only; once you leave, you cannot re-enter. Don't go out for meals in the middle of the day. Download the app in advance; it's convenient for checking queues, booking shows, and viewing the map.

This is a 5-story high dome theater where you fly over the ten Southeast Asian countries in 8 minutes—from Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, Thailand’s Grand Palace, to Cambodia’s Angkor Wat and Malaysia’s Petronas Towers. Your feet dangle in the air, and the aerial views are breathtaking. Choose seats in the middle of the 3rd or 4th floor for the best view and immersion. 2. 10:40 Check in at "Walk Into Angkor" giant screen theater Just a few minutes’ walk away. A 60-meter ultra-large circular screen uses light and shadow effects to fully recreate the history of Angkor Wat’s construction. Great for photos and cultural immersion. 3. 11:20 Experience "Rama Legend" 4D motion coaster A Thailand-themed immersive ride. Hop on the coaster and join Prince Rama on an epic adventure. The park offers many authentic ASEAN dishes like Vietnamese pho, Thai curry rice, Malaysian bak kut teh, and Indonesian fried rice at reasonable prices. After eating, find a shady spot to rest and recharge for the afternoon. The immersive story and water effects make it highly interactive and fun for all ages. 4. 4:30 Visit lesser-known exhibitions to deepen ASEAN cultural experience Avoid crowds and visit the City of a Thousand Pagodas Magic Cube Phantom Theater and the Merlion Singapore-themed interactive pavilion. No queues, learn about ASEAN cultures, and get more photo ops—relaxing and fulfilling. Take this quieter time to snap photos of stone carvings, pointed roofs, and lake reflections you missed earlier. At about 5:30 PM, there’s a small ASEAN-themed parade with NPCs dressed in traditional costumes dancing and interacting. The lively and heartwarming vibe lasts until the park closes at 6 PM, ending your day perfectly—fun without exhaustion. Avoid Pitfalls Tips 1. "Fly With You" and "Song of the Thousand Islands" are the park’s hottest attractions. Head there first at opening and book shows in advance on the app. Weekend lines can exceed an hour, so don’t waste time. 2. The park is large; wear comfortable shoes, avoid heels or hard soles. Nanning’s UV rays are strong; bring high SPF sunscreen, sun hats, and arm sleeves in summer to avoid sunburn. 3. The park allows only one entry per ticket; once you leave, you cannot re-enter. Plan your route carefully. For a slower, deeper experience, buy the 450 RMB two-day ticket for more time. 4. Night sessions with light shows, fireworks, and night parades only open on holidays. This time visiting Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Glory, I found it’s not just a park for thrill rides but more like a themed area that combines Southeast Asian vibes, attractions, and nighttime atmosphere. After a full day, you get both ride experiences and plenty of photo spots, so planning your route in advance is recommended. Highlights: The park’s biggest feature is its strong Southeast Asian theme, with buildings, streets, greenery, and lighting all giving a vacation feel. Thrill seekers can head straight to the roller coasters, while those who prefer a slower pace can enjoy indoor immersive attractions, the parade, and the nighttime light show. Families with kids can also find a relatively relaxed route without having to queue intensely all day. The entrance plaza is perfect for your first photo entering the park, with distinctive architecture as a backdrop. The Southeast Asian-themed street is great for tropical vacation-style photos. The lakeside area is very clean during the day, ideal for reflections and portraits. You can catch dynamic shots along the parade route. When the lights come on at night, the main walkway and themed buildings become even more photogenic, especially for silhouette and atmospheric shots. Tips to avoid pitfalls: Check the day’s show and attraction opening times in advance. Book popular rides early or go queue first thing in the morning. The midday sun is strong, so it’s best to schedule indoor attractions and rest breaks then. Secure your spot early for the parade and nighttime show, but don’t stand too close to the front to make photography and exiting easier. Families with kids shouldn’t try to do too much; focusing on a few key attractions will be more comfortable. Overall, the experience at Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Glory exceeded my expectations for balance. It offers both the excitement of a theme park and the photo-friendly atmosphere of a themed area, making it suitable for a one-day trip. Just stagger your timing, and the experience will be noticeably better.
